  • I'm so loving this video right now. I can't wait for Curve next April.

  • I really wish this acoustic version was for download, its spectacular. This is what true talent sounds like.

  • Who's that other guy playing guitar?

  • @raineOLPmaida Joel Shearer. He played support on tour during this time.

  • This is the best Raine's voice has ever sounded live.

  • 4 people have serious hearing impairment

  • Superb!

  • Watching Raine singing always puts a smile on my face, how surreal it is.

  • @kennygmang.. What is your obsession with Raine's age.. Alot of older people are still singing and sounding good. Much, much older then Raine. I think alot of people have a hard time accepting the fact that Raine's style of singing has changed since the first OLP songs.. People get older, their voices change.. I still think there are alot of amazing OLP songs that came out in recent years..

  • @ultraviolet221

Oh, d/w...I hate old OLP fans, and I personally think that with their new album coming next year, they're gonna be the best they've ever been.

I love his falsetto, it's just that he shouldn't rely on it, yet he should never lose it at the same time

  • @kennygmang Hey good for you fag

  • @slutwhisperer

    fuck off little kid?

  • Truly is the best era of his voice, ever (02-06).

Too bad Raine has gotten too old. Not that he's not good still, but his voice has just matured too much to say that he's singing the best he's ever been doing.

  • @kennygmang Best era of his voice? I don't think so. 90's Raine was the shit, Naveed and Clumsy were fantastic albums

  • @blackjackwilliams

    It kinda is...

he not only still had a good hard falsetto, but at least he sounded pleasant in ALL of his songs

  • yes, HIPT & hunter's lullaby was probably an excellent era in raine's vocals.. even more live! and! he does an excellent versions of the band's hits at that time.

  • what a beauty...everyone played really well, and Raine killed it!

  • They did a really g0od j0b live , s0me pe0ple can't d0 that g0od

  • I wasn't sure if i would like the acoustic version or not but i all most like it more

  • i love late nights staying awake just to listen to olp till the daylight

  • This was a good year for Raine's voice. It sounds really shitty now, hes flat on everything...

  • @SupermansDead93

    no it isn't...well maybe cuz he's 40!

try doing that often with that falsetto that he does

  • @SupermansDead93

and it's not flat, it's just lower...

try commanding a lower pitch like he does too

  • read something the other day people ,,, THEY PUT LADY GAGA IN ROCK BAND AND LEFT OUR LADY PEACE OUT . Acoording to the rock band people it was a toss up agianst lady gaga and fucking OLP Like WTF Is wrong with people these days i think OLP is 10000 xs better then lady gaga

  • @hockeynut464

    WTF? WAS THAT TRUE!?!?

I'm in a vg forum caled gamefaqs, and my sig is:

"Not taking it out till' OLP gets DLC for rock Band" for like 1/2 a year now.

If that's true, Harmonix is fucking themselves UPSIDE DOWN.

Fucking Gaga sucks shit compared to Ranie Maida alone.

AND SHE'S FUCKING MAINSTREAM POP!! WTF!!

  • not true

  • anyone know who the extra guy on guitar is?

  • joel shearer

  • @Geordieboy1990 Yeah if I'm not mistaken he toured with them for Healthy in Paranoid Times. I remember them having a second guitar when they did Edge Fest in Buffalo years back.

  • EACH ONE HAS SHOULDER.

  • Saw them at 9:30 Club in D.C on 08-17-09. Their music is just soooooo soooo unique. Raine Maida has got some one of a kind vocals too. He climbed up the stage upto the balcony and sang with some fans that stormed him there. That's what I think as (101% RAW Toronto) straight up.

  • @godavari Raine loves climbing when he performs hahaha.

  • I wish OLP did their MTV unplugged sessions. I believe it would be a big hit not just in Canada or US, but all over the world. They are truly one of a kind band ... Listening to this song gives me goose bumps:) OLP rules

  • i <3 it when musicians close their eyes while singing :P

  • They got me dreaming awake on this one. It's the sound of thinking, than running, crying, walking, raging and running again. May these guys offer you more of those feelings. I'm proud for my friends. OLP are back to origin.

  • Inspirational song!

  • anyone knows where can i download this version?! i found it aweosome

  • There's plenty of software that can rip it right from this video. I use sound recorder which I think I got on emule.

  • Sweet. OLP is Canada's best band.

  • i agree with you 100%

  • for sure

    no contest

  • and one of the best in general

  • freaking awesome I can't wait to see them in both Grande Prairie and Edmonton!!! Also can't wait for Burn, Burn!!

  • Very Canada me thinks.

  • Hes really amazing live, so are everyone else there

  • It's kick ass that my uncle is friends with the guitarist in this band.

  • my absolute favorite band. nothing else compares for me.

    <3

  • God, this is the most beautiful song....

  • I love them all!!!

  • MITICI!!! In tutte le salse!!! Raine lascia senza fiato!Ke meraviglia! La xfezione può esser xsonalissima!!! EKO!

  • oops i mean far left

  • I think you mean far right still :P, from left to right it goes Steve Turner, Jeremy Tagart, Raine Maida, Duncan Coutts (that consists of OLP) and on the far right is the guitarist from the band Pedestrian I think his name is Joel Shearer.

  • I think you mean Steve Mazur, lol, you're mixing up the name of their old guitarist Mike Turner

  • yes you are correct haha, silly me

  • who is the guy on the far right? i though OLP had 4 members...

  • was this the only song they did in this session? amazing is an understatement...proud to be canadian

  • agreed.

  • great song, and they sound awesome here!!!!

  • OLP has always helped me when I was depressed.

  • @silvergarland Aw, me too...

  • @silvergarland there are pills for that

  • bass is great. and when drums start sounds cool. and their backing vocals are nice. perfecto

  • omfg .. they are amazing

this is deffinately one of my fav band .. other than red hot chilli peppers

but they are an amazing band ..

    never sieze to amaze me

    incredible

  • amazing as always. wish they would tour in the new york area again soon

  • He rocks the falsetto... always... :) <3

  • raine is soooo fucking awesome.

  • Raine is a master!

  • it produces loud sound for you ....woooooooow

  • like i allready say i really fucking love this band!!!!!! our lady peace...the best!

  • see this is why i dont get how some people like rap or R&B most of them cant perform as well live as a rock band like our lady peace, they sound just as good live as on they're CD

    OLP = amazing

  • no words to say......simply awesome

  • abso"fuckin"lutely

  • Why does everyone keep saying OLP's last two albums sucked? To me, Gravity is right up there with their previous three. Healthy was kind of a step back, though still OLP and still awesome.

  • I kinda think the opposite, Gravity was repetitive every song ended with a drawn out chord lol. Healthy was alot better than gravity.

  • nice to see they finally got a permenant rythum guitar

  • song bout the tribulation, first is the rapture of the church, means the departure of the holy spirit... the song starts with"looks like the holy ghost is gone" now what im pointing here maybe the 7 yr. tribulation is starting.

  • Been a while since I watched this one, I somehow forgot how amazing it was. Thanks for uploading. :) Man, I miss those guys. They gotta get their butts on the road. ;)

Oh and for those folks calling him "the guy in the white shirt", that's Joel Shearer. Check out his band Pedestrian, you won't regret it. (Googling for "Pedestrian music" turns up the correct results... they're the LA band on MySpace.)

  • I absolutely love Raine Maida's voice, it's intoxicating!!

  • absolute heart stopping~

  • whos the second guitarist in the white shirt?

and how come steve aint playing the lead bits?

questions aside our lady peace RULES

  • ignore that

i keep forgetting they bought him in

  • Hes from the band Pedestrian....I dont think hes with the band full time

  • I don't know... Joel performed with them in PEI earlier this month, and he's been with them for like four years.

  • ahh i was not aware he was still around

  • Last I heard he was just a touring guitarist with them, Pedestrian tours with them alot, i guess its just easier for them

  • raine is hot, the dude in the white shirt is hot too!! not saying the others aren't, hot band all around!

  • They have a very good balance of instrumentals in this song, i hate it when the voice gets drowned out by the guitar or drums. Beautiful song, it grew on me :)

  • Amazing.

  • his voice is beautiful<333

  • ya it's one of a kind

  • perfect!... thank you~

    Namaste*

    bring the light~*

  • I love his voice!

  • same

  • wow....blown away

  • thats amazing how he does that fading in thing at 3:16 ...he is the sex..the sole provider of all my eargasms

  • you can't say anything bad about this performance. Stunning.

  • Loved these guys since I first heard them 11-12 years ago... and it's not easy to get in to these guys in New Zealand (radio only plays on request). Yay the internet I say. This song is certainly one of their highlights. Brilliant. Superb live/acoustic. Just stunning.

  • thats one of the best,i have ever seen!!!!!:P

  • this is why I love Our Lady Peace. They are so real and down to earth. I think I liked them ever since I was 5 which is a long time. I have all their songs. I might be missing one or two buts that about it.

  • Do you have the song they recorded for a WWE soundtrack entitled "Whatever"?

  • His voice is amazing<3

  • hes good and hott XD

  • Joel is so good!!

  • now who said acoustic live music is gay... ITS AMAZING!!!

  • Awesome acoustic version. Much more soft than the normal.

  • amazing! five bagillion stars! yeah love it :d

  • Great musicians =)

  • most singers can't duplicate on stage what they do in the studio, raine's amazing. Anyone have any clue what kind of shirt he's got on?

  • It's this wonderful little haute couture invention called the T-shirt.

  • he deserves more recognition!

  • oh my gosh, so favourited!

  • awesome

  • :-)

  • wooow!!! its awesome, fantastic, beautiful, amazing!!!

  • OMG, that was AMAZING! WOW!
