It's actually games like Spellforce years ago that caught my interest in this type of music, this song has to be one of the best iv'e ever heard, the whole synergy and the voice talent is truly perfected, massive potential (added to favourites).

D.A was okay but games like NWN 2, and Star Wars K.O.T.O.R were just legendary. Cool to hear the same voice actors though.

First time I heard this, I loaded an earlier save so I could listen to it again, but also to make a seperate save titled "Leliana's Song" so I could listen to it whenever I wanted.

I"ve got this on PS3, did "Nature of the Beast" and sided with the Elves. When I got back to camp I talked with Leliana and she sang the song. So I know for sure you can side with the elves and have her sing it on PS3, but I don't know about 360, it should be there... just keep talking with Leliana until you get her to sing. Also could be a glitch that it doesn't trigger, but *shrugs*.

@CapLockFreak I think you either have to complete Leliannas personal quest that deals with her old employer or you might have to romance her to have her sing it.

If I recall correctly, she'll sing after the quest with the elves is completed, not sure what happens if you side with the werewolves ...

I've played through the entire game and all the DLC...I've never heard this song done in the game at all. It must not be on the Xbox version, only the PC.

@CapLockFreak You need to complete the quest "Nature of the Beast" and choose to side with the werewolves. After the quest is completed return to camp and speak to Leliana and she should sing the song after you have a brief conversation with her.

Stop comparing Mass Effect and DA Origins. Both are awesome games. It's different with Dragon Age 2. As a fan of Origins, I was really disapointed. Why must developers destroy awesome games just to make it more fit for the masses?...

@lahmarko She can be found in the first town you go to after you leave morrigans place. She can be found in the town pub and interrupts when people in the bar want to engage in a fight with your party. Just remember, once you leave lothering, it is destroyed by dark spawn. So be sure to recruit Lelianna and Sten before you leave.

I have played DA:O only once through and I did not meet any character called Lelianna. And still there is much about Lelianna. So I ask, where do I have to go in the game, to find Lelianna and get her to join my party?

You know as a Mass Effect fan I cant help but compare this story to that of Mass Effect, but if you think about it these comparisons can be made:

Reapers - Darkspawn

Shepard - Warden

Spectres - Wardens

Warden - United the races of Fereldan against the blight.

Shepard - Is uniting the races of the galaxy to fend off an impending reaper invasion.

I really miss DAO :'( DA2 was such a crappy game ;( not worthy to be a sequel to something so good as DAO. I hope they come back to DAO concept in designing DA3.

@luckdragon88 yes the best word I could ever find is undexpected... there are no songs during gameplay in most rpgs... background music yes, but something sung by a character??? absolutely epic thing to do!! I'm currently playing DAO for ~10th time nowadays btw :))

@charlottebrady96 I hated DA2 it served very little purpose to be made in my personal opinion. Dragon Age Origins gameplay and tactics is what they should have done. I am with you.

@MrSAYITAGAIN09 Exactly. Being a mage bored the hell out of me in DAO, and the only decent class with regards to fighting in DAO was a warrior imo. Think they tried too hard to completely fix DAO. The game wasn't broken, and DA2 completely flopped. They could have made a real decent game of DA2, considering how strong Origins was, but they didn't. That's why mass Effect will always be better, because they planned ME from the beginning. Anyway, rant over, just my opinion :P

@MrSAYITAGAIN09 Nothing like it! ME1 combat sucked... badly. It's basically a 3rd person shooter, and in ME1 the guns used to over heat. in ME2 they use thermal clips, and I strongly recommend getting mass effect if you don't mind a shooter type of game :D

I am not trying to be argumentative but-while not anorexic she certainly isn't fat. If you google her you will find she has a nice figure. You will also find that she writes and performs music for many video games. She is not a voice actor but a video game song writer and performer. I found her performance of "Leliana's song" one of the most moving parts of the game and suited Leliana's character. Anyway, have a good day and game on.

@AlWexler I mean, she is the stereotipical singing 'fat' woman with a more powerful kind of voice that I knew since the beggining didn't really fitt leliana's features, they could used the same voice actor or recruited this woman to play the part, so that the singing sceene would be more convincing.
