I just finished watching this movie.. I must say, didn't even know they make decent movies anymore.. All it seems to be is CG garbage, shit romantic comedies, or a movie which usually involves a football team, hiphop group, or marching rap/band. Luke is an underrated actor.

Great acting too!!

This movie feels very authentic. Henry's life takes turns he never saw or wanted. At movie's end he gains faith in life again, even if not yet in God, and he could still go either way. In the end the choice is his, and ours, to make.

This movie avoids the facile mistake that faith equals zealotry (Esperanza may be very enthusiastic, but she is no zealot). Faith is not certainty--only certainty is certainty--and doubt accompanies even the most fervent believer's journey.

having seen it a few times, I can tell you it's not quite as preachy as the preview makes it out to be. I honestly didn't think it was a great film (though it had much potential), but one thing it didn't do was claim the presence of a deity.

It was much more about faith that there is something better out there, and honestly the main character never actually turns into a "believer".

Such a moving story! With the exception of a problem I had with the ending this film is superb! 5/5!
