  • I'm planning on getting a rabbit with a new hutch for him/her. I have been searching online what the inside of the hutch looks like but no luck. Thanks for giving the interior tour, really helps. I love the tiny farm you got there too. oxoxo

  • @uavida Glad I could help!! thanks much..

  • that is such a cool cage where did you get it??

  • @miranda4335 thanks!! I just sold that coop. you can find it online.. its called a Premium plus bunny barn.. about 200 bucks new..

  • How much would you say one of your rabbit's weighs in this video? I know this is a smaller hutch but I do not have much room to work with, and I have to keep my rabbit in doors. My mini lop is around 6 lbs, so I am wondering if this would be a good size hutch for him. I know this would be better then the commercial pet store cage he came in!

  • We had this hutch and had two rabbits in it just like you but it's way way to small so we got a new one and made it.

  • How kind of chikens do you have I saw a beerded one

  • @spenceman12345 I am not sure of the actual breed.. they are both the same.. some call them meat rabbits because they are both white.. thanks for commenting!

  • The hutch is way to small for Rabbits

  • I only have one one

  • Haha that minee

  • this is so small and cruel, they need a bigger place!

  • @swiper1108 I will have to go have a look.. Thanks for posting!!

  • That hutches is WAY WAY to small rabits need at lest 6ffet hutch!!

  • @claraswift101 They do not live in that area anymore. That was just until the rabbits and chickens were acclimated with each other. Now they all live together in that wooden fence area.. thanks for commenting!!

  • Sorry, but this hutch is way too small for rabbits. Even if they have access to the area the chickens are in, they still need a spacious indoor area for cold weather conditions. A hutch should be an absolute minimum of 6ftx2ftx2ft, with a permanently attached run. Your hutch is not predator proof - a wild animal could easily flip the catch open. You need proper metal bolts...

  • @tuftybun Hello and thanks for your concern.. please be assured that the rabbits live in a large enough area. Please feel free to watch my newer updates I now call chicken update videos.. the rabbits live under ground in tunnels they made. They live happily with 8 chickens in a fortefied 16 foot x 16 foot enclosure (dont want to lose anyone here). around the enclosure I have a 2 foot under ground fence that also keeps what we want in but what we dont want out. Thanks for commenting..plz sub

  • I;m going to get the identical cage just no tthe lower floor, what do u think of it? I'm ging to get guinea pigs that were raised in it :)

  • @Bumbliebee6306 I really enjoy this cage. The rabbits still go up and sleep in it pretty often.. The bottom is nice because its like they can go "outside" when they go downstairs. Thanks for posting!!

  • @Bumbliebee6306 It's far too small for rabbits - don't buy it! Rabbits should live in accomodation that is at least 5ft in length, preferably 6ft, and even better, in a shed instead of a hutch.

  • looks nice - i had a lovely mini lop bunny who had a hutch fairly similar to this... same kinda design. we have chickens also, and Bella would come out every day into our garden and play with the chickens, eat with them and everything! she never dug out from her hutch though... i guess cos she had the whole garden to explore she didn't feel the need.

since she died though i've kept my new bunnies indoors - i find they're such wonderful house pets :)

hehe, shame about the price drop!

  • @vixitrixalina We love our rabbits.. Did you see the videos of mine where we find out they are male and female and end up producing 2 litters of 14 baby rabbits.. argghhh.. After the first litter we got the father fixed but it was too late because another group were on their way!! Good thing we found homes for all of them and are back down to 2. Thanks for posting!!

  • thanks

  • The bottom part is nice but as you said, they have an innate tendency to dig and want to explore.

  • Great Rabbit Hutch but could you build a fenced pen onto it somehow ?

It's not big enough for two rabbits of that size. It's lovely as a hutch but a 6 foot area is the recommended size for one rabbit of that breed.

  • @BexPetz I think there is an extended run for that hutch available but in my newer videos you will see that the front fence of the lower hutch area was taken out so the rabbits run freely in the same 16ft x 16ft enclosure to run around in as my 8 chickens.. One big happy family.. :) Thanks for posting and watching my videos.

  • what is the exzact name of this hutch? did u by it on ebay? how much?

  • @dirtdriver2010 Amazon has lots of hutches.. go there and put in rabbit hutch. you will find this one. I think its around 250 dollars. Thanks for posting.

  • whats the exzact name of this hutch? did u by it on ebay? how much?

  • whats the exzact name of this hutch? did u by it on ebay? how much?

  • @willfeldon We thought they were both the same sex but if you watched my newer videos, you will see that they had 2 litters of 7 rabbits each!! ohh boy.. we have since found good homes for all of them and are now down back down to the 2.. (male fixed of course!!) Thanks for posting!!

  • @Onze6Kippen Sorry for the super late response but just wanted to say thank for watching my videos!!

  • I have a question Ive been wondering about.

Iam getting an outdoor hutch and the run dose not have a bottom, so it just ground and grass under my rabbit. My question is will he dig out? please answer before my rabbit runs, lol .

  • @NinyGirlForever The rabbits will DEFINITELY dig out.. I have chicken wire buried 2 feet under ground all the way around to prevent this.. They are digging tunnels like crazy but do not seem to dig deeper than 2 feet down.. You will need something similar if you dont want to go outside one day and see that they have "escaped"..

    Thanks for posting.

  • I have that same rabbit cage!!
