  • cool... I have tried to pose before too... But after 10min or so I began to feel reallyyyyyy uncomfortable. It's amazing that they could actually pose for soo long(even standing) without falling asleep -___-ll

  • wow!! that guy's been sitting there for 2 hours?!? wow... o.0 but cool scuplture!! =) Love it!!

  • Most people sit for two hours for a portrait, but regular models pose for 1 1/2 hours at a time. When I demo, they sit (or stand) there all day and the next...

  • Great ideas....very right brain and organic, the way art should happen....in my opinion!

  • Thanks,

That's the way we teach it too. I beleive that's how the greeks did sculpture in clay!

  • looks real nice!

I have a hard time seeing all your details from the dark patina though.

Have you done any in ferric nitrate?

  • Thanks for your comments. Haven't tried ferric nitrate. Tell us about it?

  • 2:44....Hilarious.

  • Lynn, you oppened a whole Universe for me with your sculpting class. Continue infusing love for art to your students. Great job, you're a great arttist and teacher. LS

  • Thank you so much for your kind words.

  • Nice job to both of you! I'm proud to be a student, and thrilled with my progress thus far! Keep up the good work!

  • Thanks so much!

  • Excellent video. Lynn, you are so talented!

It is amazing how you capture the model's features and spirit.

  • Thanks so much! That's about the best compliment anyone can pay a portrait artist!

  • Nice busts for commissions; you make everyone look even better than they are, which is hard to do!

  • Thank you!

  • This video was excellent, educational and beautiful to watch. The first video was a little hard to follow and confusing. This second one far out shines the first one by a hundred miles!! Loved it.

  • Thanks!

The intention of the first video was "image-feeling" communication. The sense of "confusion" is purposeful and meant to imply a "LOT" of activity--just like the testamonial at the end stated. If it was too organized, it would lose the sense of CAREFREE ENERGY we desired.

The second was for the EDUCATIONAL minded to show our techniques--how our method leads to amazing skills very quickly. It has the opposite purpose of the first (the reason they are in very different categories).
