I loved this show, but it made me so sad watching it, if you ever watched an episode of the original xmen animated series, those guys never caught a break. It was either racists fucking up their lives or some new mutant would be raping them. The show never showed them having a moment of relief, just pure rapage, made me depressed watching it.

Its an opening specifically made for the x-men cartoon from the 90s when they brought the show to Japan. I looked everywhere there is no x-men show done like this one would confuse or even excite us into the possibility there being one. Though it would've been awesome if they did one like this though. I mean their was Batman: Gotham Knight plus the Iron Man(not a reimagining as far as I know) and Wolverine reimagining coming to dvd so who knows. Maybe Marvel could have something up sleeve.

This was horrible.

First off, the thing starts off with an announcer guy for some reason. Why? None of these comic action cartoons needed an announcer. You know who they are because you see the word "X-Men" and then you watch the cartoon. The original OP music is obnoxious and over blown and, again, unnecessary. But the most important part of all is that this gives no explanation as to who they are in the world. They're ostracized, persecuted, hated. That was the whole point! None of that here.
