Cooking an aluminum can with paint in an acidic chicken seems like a risky idea. I wonder if the same flavor could be achieved by marinading the bird in beer for 24 hrs.? My BBQ Sauce for Amateurs would be excellent on this. Thanks for a great video!
My grill wont close with the bird and beer can in there, will it be dry if I keep it open while cooking? I put butter, onions, fresh garlic in the beer can..although some spilled out, when the can tipped over while trying to close the bbq lid. Any advise?
I got to try this recipe but with a different rub. I have to say this was the best chicken I have made. My wife and neighbors loved it. It came out very moist. Thanks.
Note to the person who mixed the audio for this. It sounds odd when you separate the two voices onto left and right channels like this. Best to keep them both in the center, or maybe just a little left and right for a little separation.
What was the name of the chicken ??? HE / SHE / IT was the star of the show... lol... Great VID.. I would have added the heart, liver and gizzard, JUST a touch of flour and made a gravy out of the liquid...... THEN pour over it... Great vid guys..
@RayPaganJr chicken is the common nomenclature of the species of bird... hen is female, cock or rooster is the male. And yes, they do sell male chickens... Coq Au Vin, is typically made with an old rooster.
