I drove a 18 wheeler semi up this road first time I drove a rig. FUN. even when the road shoots back 180 degrees the other way going up. Don't lose your gears.
Aside from a few sections of road out in the viola area this one is probably one of the best roads to hit with a nice string of fast cars made to hit the banks at speed ;)
The way up Monteagle seems much easier on the interstate than on 41 to me. I've ridden up the mountain before almost 3 years ago, and the way down headin' south scared the mess outa me.

We really do not enjoy running the Interstate, especially on bikes. The back roads are the way to go. Thanks for the comment.
