I was 16 when I first watched this movie on the big screen. I was fascinated by the tasteful depiction of love between "two old people". Had the fortune of meeting Mr. Sahni a few times between 1970-72 and found him extremely charming, suave and intelligent. I am watching this clip today at the age 61. I still feel that it is an all time great romantic song with such grace, class and sublime love. That is what makes it a Classic.
