Sampras vs Agassi is probably the best rivalry ever. Their epic matches at the Australian open, Us Open and Masters are amazing and they faced several times in Wimbledon and the French Open. The other great rivalry that i can think of that could match this rivalry is the rivalry between Borg and McEnroe.

You're wrong on both counts, if you look at his actual volleys, NOT his half volleys, he takes a huge cut at them. That's very difficult with arguably no real improvement over regular volleys. If you recall, he hit a floater into the stands in Dubai one year. Also, people have been hitting half-volleys from the baseline since god knows when...
