I actually think that scars from this process can turn out amazing. Not always, but they usually have much more of a deeper meaning to their owner than just normal tattoos. So for those two reasons, I think that scarification is actually quite beautiful and I congratulate anyone that has gone through it. ^_^

It should be enjoyed and for many can have a spiritual or semi-spiritual affect. It should at least have a centering affect bringing a sense of "yep, i'm still alive" or of being proud to have undergone this pain. Seems most people do it for others and just grit their teeth through the pain instead of learning from it.
