WAY too simple and the instruments are louder than the words. You should have EQ'd the voice to match the rest of the song or you should have punched the voice hard... Even hard limiting. Your song is missing that certain something. Too simple and not enough presence, especially not ready for the dance floor. Good to listen to to fall asleep.

Thanks! I use FL Studio (it's a midi sequencer) for my remixes. Sometimes I use Virtual DJ to adjust the BPM of acapella samples because FL Studio is bad an analyzing BPM. I use the ReFX Nexus VST softsynth for a lot of my instrumentals. It's a great synthesizer for trance or eurodance style music.

If you're just mixing vocals or samples with an instrumental track, then Virtual DJ is pretty good. But I wouldn't recommend it if you're using a lot of loops because it would be hard to control.
