@TheMrkiller2010 Not everyone has a gun lying around when they get the suicide itch. Additionally, there's a chance that you could miss the brain and hit the spine or blow your face off and be vegetabalized or disfigured for life! Shooting is not always a sure thing.  Check out the kid in the "Dreamer Deceivers" documentary about the Judas Priest fan whose finger slipped on his shotgun, before he was ready, and he ended up shooting his face off! He couldn't even close his mouth, after that!

I hadn't heard he had died until years after the fact. It saddened me that more media wasn't devoted to this, not that it was a good event, but when other actors die, there is usually a huge media overtaking. It is still so sad that he felt the need to take his life, but one can only hope that he is at peace now. He was a wonderful actor, writer and director and would have gone very far in his career. RIP.

I am 21 now, and loved this actor. He was truely one of my favorite...starting from the Never Ending Story 2, all the way to SeaQuest. I wish he would have stuck around.
