@BrooklynNotQueens Question. What exactly happened in your past that made you hate the hasids to the point of wanting to talk about them so much? I am not saying I disagree with every thing you say, but i am just wondering cause I see you all over the jewish hasid vids and am now just curious :)
you are right- this is not a halachic issue but it is a hashkafic issue. If ppl want to be a part of a certain group; then they have to learn to fit their standards. Why not ask a woman who is part of the community in Willi if she minds this restriction? Funny how its always ppl who arnt even effected who are making a fuss. If we dont trust our Gedolim and leaders of the community to make decisions for us as a whole until Moshiach comes; then we will really be in trouble...
For those that use the term "Chasidic" to denote all, all Chasidic groups are not the same and some would allow woman to drive and see no problem with it. I hate it when people lump all Chasidim in the same boat, like they are all the same. They are not.
Shlomo - Just for your edification, all the Yeshiva mothers in Baltimore carpool their kids to and from yeshiva in the family van. These women are the paragon of snius, self-sacrifice, devotion to Torah and fulfilling the verse, "ub'lechtecha baderech". In my life, I learned that men like you who are hypercritical about women's snius are usually engaging in behaviors antithetical to Torah values on the side. The rule of thumb is that people who are clean & pure assume that others are too.
You are full of baloney. NO Posek ever forbade a woman to drive a car/van. In Baltimore, it's the only way a woman can get her kids to yeshiva/Bais Yaakov and go to the supermarket. You're a phony and a LIBERAL. I guarantee that you are a Liberal dressed up in sanctimonious garb. You are a wolf in sheep's clothing.
@ShlomoHaAvinoo - For one person, you sure generate a lot of spam! Have you ever heard of "Paranoid Personality Sundrome"? Look it up. There are a lot of videos on YouTube explaining what it is. Some doctors think it is a milder form of Schizophrenia.
Shlomo - I didn't embarrass you because no one knows who you are. You didn't have to write what you have, it's no one's business. I'm sorry if I offended you but you're no angel either. You said some pretty lousy things about me, including that I'm stupid, my husband cheats on me & I'm a cold person. The rule of thumb is to treat others as you would have them treat you. That doctrine is taught in Judaism, Christianity & Eastern religions. Learn to judge others favorably and walk in peace.
Get your kids out of these schools. Don't let no one pressure you to act in one way or another. Anyway if I lived in that community I would take my kids out of these school either way because of their flaud ideas and bad influences on the kids (I wouldnt want such idiots teaching my kids anything). Teach your kids true Torah values. Teach them decency, common-sense, survival, and a way to make a living. Let your kids grow and flourish as Jews and as people.
zenofon412 - great vid. it's nice to see jewish men standing up to the primates. I know my last comment was a bit harsh, but i get so sick of hypocrites, people who do to others what they would call bigotry if it were done to them, worse still when they do it in the name of God. No wonder so many are turning to atheism. Keep up vids like this, tho, and you may actually keep a few people from turning away from God altogether.
You look at it very Superficial. You'll understand when a kid will ask his mother for a candy after the fifth. You will understand why the mother will not give him another one. You'll not ask where the Torah sad not to give a candy for a kid! the same is here the problem is not a women+car its just about the Result and about the Outcome.Listen. Next time you have a question don't ask it like an answer. And if its just like to attack don't worry we will not get attacked from your big question
@a25eck0022 Filthy primate. It also says in the torah not to do unto others what is hateful unto you. You sick fucks create all kinds of laws and rules that are NOT of God or Judaism, but do such in the name of both, burdening other human beings in barbaric ways, taking your own primal desires and claiming such are of God. THAT is why we say, "this isn't in torah, this isn't of God." You deserve to be Islam's bitch, let them crush you by will of "Allah" the way u do to your women
Schools have the right to select the criteria of who or what type of people they allow in their school. That's a privilege of a being a private school. That being said y'allz should look at the bigger picture.
how dare you judge me. how do you know how religious I am? Just because of my outfit? You are a classic example of why religious people are always duped by con-men. May you be Zocheh to do a complete teshuvah.
Baruch The Hasid thinks of himself more Jewish than others no worries, there is no such a thing like a secular Jew, are you Jewish or not. The hasid has an obligation to be a good example but fails to do so.
what ? wait a minute TheHasid, he has the right to say it just like you have the right to do so because he's as jewish as you are and his opinion counts as much as yours... whether he's religious or not, it doesn't matter, it doesn't say in the Torah that a woman can't drive, he says it right and he can see clear what some religious brainswashed chasidim can't !
I agree with you 100% percent that women should be able to drive, but you as a secular Jew are in no position to argue whether it's a mitzvah or an averah.
guys, is Seinfeld Jewish.. Google's...

@mikelunz you must be hasidgoy since you use the term "hate" to describe the simple action of writing that chabad is a gentile religion.
what in your past makes you feel that chabad theology and practice are somehow Jewish?

There is no "right to drive" in the United States; it's a privilege; it's not a "right."

Amen! Finally, a voice of reason! Religious fanatics will always find ways to distort what their holy books say to fit their agendas.

Controlling the women in Fundamentalist religions is what it is all about:
Hassidic Jews, Mormons, Fundamentalist Muslims, have more in common than they realize.
What are they afraid of? That women are people and have rights too?
We certainly did not get the "rights" we have from these anachronists!
They fight them tooth and nail!
