I just discovered a pizzeria here that has a VEGAN DELUXE pizza!!!!!! Kinda like a supreme pizza but all vegan and let me tell you I was SO happy because I've been just making my own vegan pizzas. It's not gluten free unfortunately but it's DELICIOUS. I wish all pizzerias would incorporate vegan options on their menu.
Da es auch als Tag hier steht Daiya Cheese,.. ist der Käse (aus Canada?), offensichtlich wirklich toll. Nur leider in Deutschland immer noch nicht erhältlich. Vor allem zu einem vernünftigen Preis. @GetYourGreensOn oh yes she did....i was wondering if anyone else noticed that.....that pizza is puss free Eeeeeewww LOL...thats the grossest fact ever!
wow i have to visit l.a. to get a vegan/veggie pizza. i live about an hour or so from d.c. ugh. i wish there was a loca restaurant that made and sold this type of pizza. look's delish.
If i became a billionaire I'd set up vegan resteraunts, vegan shops with cheap prices and good consumer products. If any vegan becomes a billionaire even, this could happen :)
@deanmullen10 - yeah, i'd set up loads of VON farms so it was grown vegan-organic too. and loads of animal sanctuaries. give people proper jobs as well, working in only good things. most of the worlds money is all in the wrong hands....
@scooma1: being vegan is about reducing unnecessary suffering to the best of our ability. Sure, chances are some field animals were harmed harvesting the vegetables.. But in comparison to the harm and environmental damage caused by animal agriculture it's the more compassionate choice. And why the "mock cheese" well.. Pizza is delicious there is no denying that! It's not mock cheese so much as it is vegan cheese, a version without dairy. "sugar free" "fat free" "animal cruelty free " different
Daiya cheese has actually caused diarrhea and vomiting in many individuals. I'm one of them and there are many people on various forums saying the same. some restaurants had to take it off their menus. stick with real food, not processed fake cheese and meats.
@llOneLifeOneChancell you are the one actually supporting the problem. if you didnt eat cows they wouldnt be raised at such an insane rate to produce methane. i realy hope you are being sarcastic...
@yellowman88 It's fake cheese. It can be made from a variety of things. Most Soy Cheese is terrible, but I've had one brand that was pretty good. Can't think of it off hand. It's never as strong as real cheese though. Sadly, they just can't get Cheddar right.
@RunandGunPictures They use a cheese called Daiya. Its free of the 10 major allergens so its soy- & gluten-free. And it melts & stretches like real cheese!
US is the vegan paradise. Veganism is growing here in Brazil, There is good stuff here. I make some recipes, check out my channel, it´s in portuguese but you can live a comment and i´ll send you my e-mail

I am not a vegan but a vegetarian. Anyway, I want to see more vegetarian / vegan restaurants!!!!!!!!! Around the world!!!! It is so hard to find places like that especially when traveling to other countries when meat eating is a daily routine. ....gives me thoughts about starting my own business to promote non-meat menus and give more options to those who are interested.
@JuliaSt979 Yeah, but it would be even nicer, if those vegetarian/vegan places had allergy/intolerance-friendly options. Whenever I find a vegetarian place somewhere, most foods have gluten in it as a meat substitute. Having celiac disease AND being a vegetarian really narrows things down for me when being forced to eat out while traveling. I also wish airlines allowed for a comibation of specials meals... However, I am willing to take the hassle for the sake of the animals. :D
@JuliaSt979 I thought of that too...they should start a franchise or something like that so people interested in starting a biz like that could go turnkey. I live in CT and they have alot of Indian restaurants around that promote vegetarian foods, but NO vegan only places to eat. Bad for me, but hey, I eat mostly raw foods anyway, no processed stuff anymore.
Oh yes, who gives a @&#$ their own health as long as they can say "no cows were milked to make my meal"
If you're going to be vegan be VEGAN, you ever have someone say to you "Hey, if veganism is sooo health why do I see so many fat vegans?" Crap like this is why. There is NO reliable way to replace animal product ingredients with a similar tasting vegetable ingredients, but you can make fat and oils taste like anything.
@truth2748 You do realize that a long time ago if people didn't eat meat, you wouldn't be here today. So why try and go against what led to your creation?
the meat i get from my local farm is cruelty free. as is the meat that i buy at the grocery store that is certified humane. instead of removing myself from the market entirely like a vegan or vegetarian i choose to take an active role in fighting confinement feeding operations. @thatguynamedluis Anything painless.. Bolt gun to the head is pretty humane. Wouldn't even see it coming. @MatachinMST Idiot comment. Atleast if an animal were to get savaged by a predator in the wild, it would've tasted freedom and if it's older then would've lived a free natural life......... Instead of enslaved at dairy farms e.t.c. You can't argue with natures way.
@S0u11ess There is no humane way to take a life. That chicken wanted to live just like you. Just because the chicken may or may not be self aware doesn't mean they don't want to live.

crust, has what you put in it. I make crust all the time from soy milk, flour, and baking sodas with tsalt and pepper, and dried mushrooms.

go to a place that is big on vegan foods. they have stuff like vegan soy ice cream and stuff. lots of stuff.
