  • That was very touching. You can see the ideal family bond in this film. If only "real" families would take the hint...it's a wonder that Jim Henson didn't go into the ministry. But I guess in a sense he did, through his genius.

  • Lovely film. I never knew Jim had worked with Joe Raposo prior to Sesame Street.

This would have made a good insert film for SS (though it probably would have had to be edited down to two minutes or so.)

  • That Was A Good Film To Watch. I really thought it was great to see a view of them running from high up in a tree. I really like what Jim & Frank worked on. :-)

  • Thanks for introducing us to this piece of Jim Henson history!

  • Awwww! Jim's daughters looked so adorable back then. :D

  • This is a very beautiful film. Not only does it capture Jim's legacy, but it shows how much fun he had with his family and how much he loved them. I have never even heard of this film until today. Thank you so much for uploading it. Please continue to bring more of these original films. Thank you all and God bless.

  • You can see exactly where Sesame Street's filmed segments came from. I never knew Jim & Frank were so involved even the photography of the transition/filler segments.

    sweet family treasure

  • @crock703 Probably not, but should of been.

  • Was this film not used on Sesame Street? Or its music for another film that was? It just sounds so familiar. All of Joe's scores were just perfect. I wish there were stereo mixes of them available on CD.

  • I love this film. Very well done. The music by Joe Raposo just fits perfectly. I love how this is just two children running. There's no meaning or plot, it's juts two children running. It really shows how something so simple, can be beautiful.

  • that was fantastic. talk about taking home videos to the next level!

  • That was really cool.

I love these little flashes into the mind and history of Jim Henson.
