  • Hi there thanx for another great tutorial. I wondered if you could help, when I draw a circle fir a face and then two smaller ones for eyes, when I highlight then all only the face circle moves. I can't figure out what I am doing wrong. Thank you.

  • your voice like harry potter ^_^

  • can you draw animatable characters with it???

  • great by the way this is anime studio pro 7 you can check few physics sample on my youtube account thanks i made few animations

  • What If I do not have the flip tool? Is there a wat to get to it?

  • I love your character tutorial it really helps me a lot thanks ^^

  • such a weird frickin program- you dont actually draw anything - its just like connecting the dots

i'm so used to flash and rotoscoping shit

  • I wanna make stick figure animations of people fighting and stuff can I do that with this or any other softwares? Like flash

  • im using the pro 6 and i cant seem to find the flip tool

  • When you have any of the top 4 draw tools selected (select points/ translate points/scale points/rotate points) look up the top.

  • thx

  • What program is this???

  • Aghh, sorry, I wish I knew...

  • oh....haha it in the title im dumb.....

  • ...Jackass.

Nice video by the way :)

  • @THEMAGICMAN28 it's called anime studio 5

  • @gabrielandrose thanks

i didnt know what verson it was

  • I want to import my files over to Windows movie maker... But it is not a compatible file... how do i get it on their?

  • CTRL+E or go to file and Export Animation.

Then save it as an AVI file, AVI files can be read by windows movie maker.

  • Can you use a tablet?

  • Can you use a tablet, as in, do tablets work with Anime Studio, yes.

Can you use a tablet, as in, is Joe Shanahan able to use a tablet, no. I am rubbish, so I gave it to a friend who did much better :p

  • i dont have the Flip...

  • Can you put characters you have already drawn onto the anime studio? Like.. i drew some characters for an animation. Can i just scan them onto my computer and then put them on the anime studio?

  • No, you cannot just scan it in and use it. What you can do though is if you have a drawing with the arms and body seperate, you can seperate it into different image files, and then use bones.

I will probably do a tutorial on this, its a recurring question. No promises though, I have a HELLOVALOTTA college work to.

  • Oh... but like the video shows you can create drawings on the anime studio.. right?

  • what if you are realy bad at art can you download a picture of a charactor of the internet .and how much is it.

    thanks

  • Well, you can download things from the internet...if you really want. Anime studio comes with quite a large library already though, so why would you want more?

If you want to be an animator, I reccommend getting better at drawing, its quite important.

  • thanks

  • I am ok at drawing but not at drawing on the computer

  • Hey, How are you zooming in and out quickly like that and moving around? lol sorry, I'm just used to using Gimp a lot and I try it in Anime Studio and it doesn't work. XD

  • Zooming with the mouse wheel

    Panning with Right Mouse button.

  • lol Thanks. =)

  • Thank-you, I just got Anime Studio and I failed at reading the tutorial, so yours really helped ^^

  • when I click the select points button it selects the head, not the eye/

  • I'm getting really frustrated cuss i made a mistake idk how, i filled in a frame, so now the character has a lot of messed up things, and i dont know how to delete the frames, or make them in the frame 0, so im trying to save it as a character, but i dont know how, i only know how to save it as a project, and is pissing me off, can you help me?

  • Right, first off, to delete a frame, you need to select it. To be able to select it, you need to be able to see it. The default is set to hide most keyframe types

On the timeline, you should see a button called settings. Click it, and then press the button that says all. Now you will be able to see every keyframe, whether it be point motion of color

Now, select the color frames that you want to move. Go to frame 0 KEEPING THEM SELECTED. Press the copy button on the timeline, then paste button

  • Thanks thanks thanks a lot, you make it a lot easier than the tutorials, the tutorials confuse me sometimes haha, thanks again, thanks a lot :3

  • my microphone has very bad quality sound (too much distortion) is it possible to still do the voices in my cartoon if the microphne is so crap?

  • VERY clear and useful - no unecessary talk, no silly waffle and excellent reminder notes on screen. Well worth bookmarking.

  • i know i sound stupid but how do u move the frame box thing so u can focus on a certain part like u did so u could change the face shape

  • You want to move the view? I don't think I explained it, so it's not stupid at all.

To move the view around, click and hold the right mouse button, and drag.

To zoom, use the mouse wheel.

I like to think of it how they do in Black & White.

Scroll the wheel towards you, to get closer.

Scroll the wheel away from you to get further away.

  • I have some sound clips from windows movie maker that i would like to sync with my animation, is there any way that i can take those files and move them to anime studio?

    Thanks

  • If you have a sound package (such as the free "audacity") you can arrange the sound files there, and export them as a WAV file. You should be able to import that into the file using "import soundtrack".

  • your audio that you recorded is saved into a folder call naration in the my videos folder. you can acess it there

  • thankyou for this i just got anime studio for christmas

  • Merry Christmas, have fun!

  • sooooo uhh i just got it too any tips......yeahhhh...

  • Im assuming your question is:

"I just got Anime Studio, have you got any good tips?"

My main tip is to read the user guide. That is where I learnt everything I know about Anime Studio. Apart from that, you just need to keep using it until you are comfortable with it.

  • How did you zoom in?

  • Mouse wheel up and down

  • poor sound quality, but for beginners, unbeatable. :)

  • Yeah, the sound kinda sucks, but theres not a lot I can do about it.
