where do you buy Gerbils?

@TheRodentPatrol you can look for breeders near you in your state, or you can buy from your local petstore.

But i would recomend finding a breeder, some petstores have gerbils with wet tail.

my petstors dont, they're PetSmart and Petco.

OMG I LOVE GERBILS!!! I love the house you made for them, it's awesome!!! Mine has a little house but he runs around the bathroom and he really has fun... One question, don't they eat the plastic tube? Mine did!!!

you have such tall cages! you know gerbils love to burrow i suggestu use that extra space to add extra bedding so they can dig, they will love it and spend ages making tunnels

Fill one of those tanks up halfway so they can burrow a bit. Gerbils love to dig around.

@xBella3210x careful.....if you pull on their tails it pulls the skin comes off and you have this yucky bone thing. (my dad used to have gerbils when he was a kid)

@xBella3210x Try a metal wheel. We once made a mistake of putting a plastic wheel in our gerbil tank once. They chewed straight through base within 5 minutes. Put a metal wheel in and they loved it.

AWSOME. i'v have some gerbils and the cage isn't big enough for all the toys, so where'd you get that/them cage/s. any help would be very appriciated

nice cage gerbils arnt nomally teretorial but you do have one flaw

gerbils need to burrow and half and inch just isnt enough

that amount of gerbils need stimulation and so need tubes and other toys

you have a huge tank but is going to waste as the gerbils are bored

this is shown by their backward and forward motion between the two cages.

Is it okay to have the two cages connected like that? I heard on gerbil forum that having a cage done like that would make it more likely that the gerbils will become territorial, declan, and start fighting. Try to do some research on how this will affect your gerbs, okay? Not trying to be mean, just trying to make sure that the gerbs aren't in a situation where one or more of them will get hurt.
