  • how come the horse is still a horse

  • fuck companies taking videos down

  • in our musical... babette its a little solo so i was wanting to see how she sang it... darnnn

  • @hunnypotohunny I went with a group of friends to the movie and we were all looking forward to this scene. we all agree with you.

  • I just came back from the 3D version of this movie and I was kinda sad when they didn't bring back this song.

  • I saw Beaty and the beast in 3D and the animation was so different from what he have now

  • in my play of this I was Beast and I had to sing this...weird

  • i do not remember this at all!!

  • this song wasnt included in the beauty and the beast 3D :(

    they should've !! i knew something was missing D:

  • @kingdomkey013 I was afraid that I had missed it! D: Aww they really should have included it.

  • anything that as Lumiere and Mrs. Potts singing - I'm game. LOVE Beauty and the Beast.

  • I love Beauty and The Beast.

  • @Melvito2 incorrect. it was based on their job and what they did. Mrs Potts always made tea, lumière lit the candles, and cogsworth checked the clocks. in the play they mention a person that groveled at the masters feet, and now he is a doormat

  • I'm really sad they didn't include this scene in the 3D release. I was totally looking for this, but I guess the rest of the movie was okay.

  • @hunnypotohunny I KNOW RIGHT?!? this was my favourite song!!

  • @hunnypotohunny I was waiting too!!!! I was feeling so excited to see this part on the big screen, but it never happened :( I guess it's alright though since I have it on dvd.

  • @hunnypotohunny Thanks for letting me know this isn't in the 3D version in theaters. This scene alone was the reason I was going to go see it.

  • When in the movie does this song occur?

  • @HBourgoin It's right before Beast is washing up

  • This is so good

  • Ah, I just watched ep of Murder She Wrote starring Jerry Orbach! lol Too bad David Ogden Stiers couldn't have a part, lol.

  • i watched this movie again online, why didn't I see this scene?

  • @dreamyprettyangel It was removed from the original movie because it made it too long. They reincorporated it a few years later.

  • Woah. How many servants and staff does the beast /have/?!

  • @lolz9113 Well, he IS a prince so I suppose he would have quite alot...

  • they skipped chips part

  • I have a question: did Jerry Orbach provide Lumiere's voice in this song, since it was added on a later release, or had he unfortunately passed on before he had a chance to? I can't really tell, and Wikipedia doesn't say.

  • @ihartrodatkins this was before he passed away. it was made during the first DVD release.

  • Please tell me this is going to be in the 3D theater re-release. I am going to cry in that theater if it's not.

  • @IWANTTOMEETGERARD It wasn't included. I just saw it not long ago. I was upset too.

  • I cant believe this wasn't in the original release, its a great song!

  • I think I like better when they're objects, you know?

  • im playing the wardrobe in my school musical

  • @randomtoodles i'm playing fifi in my school musical!

  • wonder if this is going to be in 3D.

  • I was watching this movie on ABC Family during countdown to christmas and I remember this song but never saw it in the movie on ABC Family. Hopefully they will feature this song in the re release

  • the wardrob is the best!!!! Madame de la grande bouche ALL THE WAY!!! lol! i hope they put in the songs, 'Home' 'Home Tag' and 'Home Repraise' as an animated song also... i am the wardrob... or was... whatever

  • i think lumiere looks better as a candle stick

    no offense

  • I'll be honest, I don't really like how they threw this song into the special edition of the movie. It's a cute song, and I'm glad that they decided to animate it, but I can tell that it was kinda "thrown in." It looks to me like they were just trying to find a good place to insert this scene, made a quick transition, and said "eh, good enough."

  • i played the wardrob (madame de la grande bouche) in a play and sang this song... my favorite!!!

  • i never knew this scene existed until i watched it on megavideo and this scene was included

    it's just amazing

    great animation

who else is going to see this in 3D next year?

  • I wish my house could do that.

  • I'd hate to be the dustpan

  • I didn't mind this song since it was cute, but couldn't they have also included "Home?" It's such a gorgeous song and would have shown off more of Paige O'Hara's beautiful singing voice. D:

  • @rikkulockhart15 Home is part of the Broadway musical, it was quickly written in for the musical and did not exist when the movie was released

  • @Vhdiesintheend Ah, I see. The same thing happened with the Lion King musical.

Though Lion King didn't have as many good songs added into the musical. "They Live In You," and "Shadowland" were the exceptions in my opinion, and I'm glad they re-used "They Live In You" for the sequel movie. "Morning Report" was kinda meh-ish to me though.

  • i wish they woulda kept the romeo and juliet part because when beast tells gaston to get out at the end....beast starts climbing to the balcony where belle is waiting for him....its just beautiful!! even before this scene was first shown i knew it was romeo and juliet reference but when i saw this scene i screamed when she was reading romeo and juliet to her...just saying...this is my FAVORITE DISNEY PRINCESS MOVIE <3

  • @sirensuzaku4 and i just realized that part isnt shown in this clip -___- fail

  • thats a lot of mops!!!!!

  • The witch had a sense of humor, she transformed everybody according to their last names. Potts, Lumiere (light) and so on.

  • lol im bebette in the play that im doing!

  • Comment removed

  • I fell in love with this song as soon as I heard it. I can understand the reason why it was deleted from the original film, because it runs about five minutes too long and it's a tangent from the story. On the other hand it's a beautiful song and I'm glad they were able to intergrate the piece into the film and it works flawlessly. It's my new favorite song from Beauty and the Beast.

  • It ruins the dramatic tension of the film. It's unnecessary, the animation's all weird and The Beast can f*****g read, OK? Burn this.

  • Do you think this song will be included when they re release it on 3D at cinemas?

  • @StephiGereRothThyne I doubt it. They took "Morning Report" out of the movie which was included in the special edition DVD and IMAX version.

  • @kiwisoup I thought so, I was (gladly) surprised it wasn't included but as I watched it in Spanish I wasn't sure whether they kept it on the english version.

  • How can anyone dislike this? It's beauty and the beast, for crying out loud! It's freakin' Disney!

  • Hey, wait a minute, I thought the Horse was turned into the Carriage. Continuity movie, ever heard of it?

  • @edzoologist2 Is there any proof he only had that one horse.

  • @ThePoketeers True, but shouldn't the other horse have been turned into a carriage too? I mean, its obvious this curse didn't just affect the humans working in the castle. It affected every living thing. As such, what circumstance must exist for their to be one horse that wasn't turned into an inanimate object? The only one I can think of would be that it is Belle's horse, but I'm pretty sure Belle's horse was one of a different color.

  • @edzoologist2 That's Belle's horse

  • Okay right. We've established that all of the furniture in the Beasts castle is alive. So when the spell breaks and that's all great. BUT. Do they now how a completely unfurnished castle?? XDD

IKEA must love them, that's for sure.

  • @6Satu9 Don't forget the enchantment!

  • I like this new scene, but I can see why they would cut it out of the original film. The kids might have gotten bored with this song because it's basically the same thing over and over. I think it's catchy though.

  • @foralldisneyfans

Does it show up in the stage musical?

  • @EmeraldSky33 Disney added it to the DVD releases because of how well audiences of the stage production liked it, as a matter of fact.

  • @MigeulP

    Oh, awesome!

  • when do they sing this song? i cant figure out where it fits into the movie. Please respond if you know!

  • @JapaneseSaru

It's after "Something There" - but the scene is "new" so it isn't in the original version of the film.

  • You know, the wardrobe's voice reminded me so much of Mrs. Puff I went and looked it up. Sadly, I don't think it's the same voice actress.

  • Never saw this song. It isn't in every version. Thanks You Tube!

  • I am auditioning for the Lemer oh it's going to be good

  • Perhaps if Human Again had to been in the original version it would have won Best Picture

  • @WDI2008 It wouldn't have made a difference; For the longest time, more of North America has viewed animation as nothing more than a babysitting tool. Something to stick your kids in front of when you need to keep them out of trouble and can't/won't personally see to it. That stigma was what lost it the award and subsequently got animation it's own, ghettoized category.

  • I just love the throw pillow cat, that's adorable.

  • It's hard to believe that this sequence was animated almost a decade after the film's initial release, it looks as if time never passed.

  • I agree with Paw on this one, worst song from the movie (that wasn't actually in the movie)

  • they re added this part for the dvd version :D

  • I'm in this :) I'm a funnel -.-

  • Pure disney magic

  • When that feather duster is human she's hot!

  • ...I honestly don't think it's bad. Then again, I always liked the furniture more than the main characters too. It's just nice to see that they have emotions and are just as excited to me human again. Which adds to their disappointment and anger when Beast lets Belle go.

  • Cat-Pillow FTW!

  • I think my favorite character in this sequence is the little footstool-dog. :)

  • i love this song soooooo much

  • So is this from the DVD speical version? Since most Disney's have that with new sences and songs?

  • This should've soooo been in the movie.

  • @Octopus9302 it technically was because they added it when it came out remastered a few years ago

  • @daxter714 I know I have that version, but it wasn't in the original and I'd say that's the proper movie even though I prefer the new version with the extra scenes.

  • Imagine how much it would suck to be one of the faceless mops or something XD

  • Lumiere and Cogsworth! Oh the Disney classics are what I live for:)

  • Lumiere is such a weirdo!

  • Much better than "The Morning Report," although The Lion King is still my favorite movie in the world.

  • at 1:26 the horse's face is just like "WTF?!"

  • Disny are the best - they make my fall in love with a candle:-)

  • @ 1:30 I love how there is a goldfish in a horse's water bucket. Why it is there I don't know but I like it!

  • I wonder what happens when Lumières head burns out ?

  • A BIGGED LIPPED ALLIGATOR MOMENT!!!!!!!! XDDDD

  • So if every single moving object in the Beast's castle was a servant- HOW MANY FREAKING SERVANTS DOES HE HAVE?! You watch the "Be our guest" video, and there's like a million spoons dancing! Were all of them servants?

  • @jsrffreak during those times, the servant's children and families probably lived with them. that's what I think, at least.

  • @socceremochick That would make sense. owo

  • @jsrffreak No, they were actual plates and spoons, just enchanted

  • @jsrffreak Let's just say he's going to need to make a trip to IKEA...

  • @jsrffreak The place is massive, it must have needed a lot of people to take care of it, I guess, haha.

  • @jsrffreak I think only if they have mouths and eyes they were servants. But it must really suck for whoever was turned into the toilet, or chamber pot.

  • @jsrffreak You know I've been thinking about that alot. My guess is that only things with faces and voices were once human. Not everything. I'm guessing a great deal of the moving objects were just brought to life as a crutch of some sort. Alot of the items I'm sure like the brooms and silverware most likely don't move until they actually need too. It's really to complicated if you ask me.

  • There are 2 reasons why I feel this song does not work:

    1. It muddles the timeline of how long Belle stays at the castle. At the end of this song it's Spring, but when she goes back to her house where Le Fou is waiting, it's Winter again.

    2. It makes the objects seem selfish. At then end when the last petal falls off the rose, this makes it seem as if they're crying because they'll never be human again, as opposed to crying because the Beast was just murdered.

  • @azuukyle7 They are crying for both, because either way, they won't be human again!!!!

Definitely a fantastic addition, I played piano for an amateur production and this is one of my personal favourites.

  • @azuukyle7 okay well when you get cursed and turned into a clock, teapot or candle stick because your boss was being an arse, lets see how bady you'll want to be human again after 10 years of being locked away... and i belive the Winter-Spring was meant to be more metaphorical than literal.. whilst they've been objects and had no hope of becoming human it's been winter. now they have hope and a chance of new life as humans and then you return to the village where its still cold and bitter

  • Ahhhh!!! I have to learn this song by tomorrow!! Well actually it was for Easter homework!!! Ohhh noooo!!

  • There's a goldfish in the water when Cogsworth falls into the bucket...why do they put garden fish in the feeding troughs?

  • I like this song :3 It just goes to show that the Beast is not the only who suffers from this curse.

  • I love this scene! I had VHS and I never seen this scene before!

  • @robynrene i know!! it wasn`t until they made a special edition that they added it.

  • @robynrene I was upset when I found my old Beauty and the Beast VHS and discovered this scene wasn't on it. xP

  • @AverylPhantom It was taken out of the original movie but when it was re-released the man who composed it died shortly before itwas finished so as a tribute they put it back in.

  • i actually think this song helps with the plot development. When I was really little I didnt understand that all the objects wanted to be human agian, in fact I barelly udnerstood they were ever human... of course being older helped

  • does lumiere make anybody else think of Naveen???

  • @darcstryke HE DOES!!!! i never thought about it before but he really does.

  • Luckiest guy in the movie: The farm hand that called in sick the day the witch cast the spell.

  • What a dick move to turn everyone in the castle to things.

  • This was on ABC Family once and so was Pinocchio. Wonder when they'll be on again...

  • Wut is this off of

  • @AmericaGotTalentFan0 laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaame

  • This year I'm in a play and were doing beauty and the beast and this song is so fun to sing ;)

  • I heard this for the first time in my school's musical and I loved it ^.^

  • Weird. I didn't recall having heard this song from the movie????

  • love the mop sequence

  • I see many people saying that "Human Again" was Menken and Ashman's worst song in this movie, but I love it.

When they added it into the movie, it was just as good as the original, and I liked seeing all of the objects dancing.

  • The servents are all turned to objects sure but that has no excuse for the castle being so dirty...that place was a mess!

  • @pitalover25 I know right you would think they clean up a little since half of them are cleaning materials.......

  • i love this song!!

  • so much better in norwegian!

  • What is this from?? This isn't in the movie!!!!!!

  • @Mutt709 Yes it is. It was planned for the movie, they cut it, it was put in the Broadway play, people loved it, so they put it in the 2003 remastered version.

  • We're doing this play right now with this song in it.I'm Cogsworth, but i'm a girl, so I have to sing this solo at 1:22 in an upper ocive. It's really hard cause my voice keeps cracking. But I do awesome everywhere else ( I think). Why did they tAKE THIS SONG OUT? It was probably too long or too cool. Wish me luck. My costume is itchy.

  • @hobbitgirl26 Good luck! :D

  • @hobbitgirl26 why in a higher octave? if you're more comfortable in alto, shouldn't you sing that?

  • @3gregcoledaniel3 Cause in my chorus girls choir, i'm a soprano, and my chorus teacher directs the play.

She doesn't know that I have a wide range of octives. So i'm stuck. P.S. I just got my "official" clock costume. It way's a ton, so i'll have to work out. I feel sorry for my friends who play Lumiere and Mrs Potts. They have to hold there arms up the whole time.Wish me luck (again).!!

  • @hobbitgirl26 GOOD LUCK! :D

  • Is this song from the original Beauty and the Beast movie? or one of its spinoffs?

  • @MJRChewy It's a musical sequence originally in the first but they took it out.

  • @6blanks oh ok! cool thx!

  • 0:21 Why did they do the sparkle sound effect on the clean window and not Lumiere's smile?

  • @AndySamVids A better question would be: "Why did they cut this from the original film?"

  • I love this song sooo much!!!! But it will be really hard to go from something there, then this song, and then beauty and the beast (I'm playing mrs. Potts) all in a row in my production.

  • @Fujikorific yeah try playing chip...

  • I was in this show in high school, and can I just say, the final verse was a BITCH to sing? Hahaha, everyone complained that their respective voice parts were incredibly high.

  • I miss doing this show, and working on this song forever, This was the only singing solo i got in the whole show. But it was the best solo ever :D

  • This wasn't in the original film was it?

  • @chocoholic718 No; what happened was they recorded it during production, but it never was animated. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but one of the writers of this song died before the DVD release, so they animated this scene and put it in.

  • I want an ULTIMATE cut with all three movies woven in one XD

  • why people hate this ? is lovly =)

  • I think this song was a nice transition from the "Something There" scene to the "Ballroom Scene." The additioned scene of Beast and Belle reading in the library was a nice touch, also. And to those who believe that this song was composed in 2002, it was produced in the making of the movie. It was originally scheduled to air in the movie when first released. But, the producers chose to replace it with "Something There." With or without this song, Beauty and the Beast is a beautiful movie.

  • After I watched Diamond edition and saw this song... I was totally in SHOCK!!! Movie didn't feel same anymore :C !!! It was much better without this.

  • i love this song i don't think they should have put it in the new one but i still the movie

  • "Put these here and put those over there" - a lyrical masterpiece!

  • Oh wow...I learned about this song when my high school did the Stage Play. I had trouble learning this song since it wasn't in the movie. Now I must say, seeing it animated is VERY surreal.

  • 17 people aren't human again.

  • Lumière, let's face it, you just can't wait to sleep with every women of the castle again! :)

  • @Jueezy well what do a think Gaston has been doing with the three bimbos this whole time???

  • If it slows down the production, I don't really see it. It's a fairly entertaining and nice piece of choir music that does add relevance (on the part of the household staff, which is hardly ever seen) to the film.

  • jesus christ disney, how the hell do you pull stuff like this???

  • See I like this song because its in the original production, and for some reason iv always thought it was in the film, don't know why?

  • love this film :D

  • The reason I personally feel this song actually works is for a few of reasons:

    A) It's from the broadway production

    B) It's actually relevant to the plot

    and

    C) The same guy who composed the music for the original also composed this

The Morning Report ended up being a really bad addition in Lion King because not only was it pointless to the plot, it was done by a different composer.

  • @slashermaster28 Not to mention it was originally writtern for the film. But taken out of the film a year before its release and replaced with Something There

  • @slashermaster28

Actually, The Morning Report does two things:

    A) It shows why the messenger (prairie dog?) took so long to tell Zazu/Mufasa

    B) It gives an actual reason as to why Zazu is on his back at the end.

  • @slashermaster28

Actually, The Morning Report does two things:

    A) It shows why the messenger (prairie dog?) took so long to tell Zazu and/or Mufasa

    B) It gives an actual reason as to why Zazu is on his back at the end.

  • @slashermaster28 You do know Morning Report was recorded and originaly PLANNED for the movie. They just cut it out. Plus it adds more of Zazu's bad-ass singing.

  • @arceustonu

So was this song. It was planned for the movie but was edited out...

  • @slashermaster28 but the morning report was from the broadway musical at least

  • This song is worthless, i was gonna buy Beauty and the Beast on dvd/blueray(whatever) but not since they sullied it with this TRASH. WAY TO GO DISNEY! screwups.

  • @thatusernamehasnotbe The DVD comes with the option of watching the original without the added scenes.
