And their is no "political" SS because this would mean the Waffen-SS were something like apolitical. same institution, same structure, same rank system, same ideology same boss. Many Waffen-SS soldiers served in Camps (but not within WSS-units, they were transfered to the Totenkopfverbände-Verbände for that.
You´re right with the Totenkopfverbände and it´s members. They were used as guards in the camps and for other reasons. But there was sure a political SS. If you take the Gestapo for that matter - they were one of the political SS units. The Waffen SS in the battle was under control of the OKW. There is a difference between the political and the soldiers SS. Both actually were political, but Waffen SS was an armed force. One of my grandfathers fought in 2. SS Das Reich.

Outer Limits really went out of their way to make this episode very realistic. For example in the first few minutes of this clip we are shown Auschwitz as it must have truly been. Notice the muddy ground and also how realistic the prisoners are. Unlike so many other depictions, they had naturally thin and emaciated extras as prisoners, and not well-fed extras from the local Actor's Exchange. These people really LOOK like concentration camp inmates.

And their is no "political" SS because this would mean the Waffen-SS were something like apolitical. same institution, same structure, same rank system, same ideology same boss. Many Waffen-SS soldiers served in Camps (but not within WSS-units, they were transfered to the Totenkopfverbände-Verbände for that.

You´re right with the Totenkopfverbände and it´s members. They were used as guards in the camps and for other reasons. But there was sure a political SS. If you take the Gestapo for that matter - they were one of the political SS units. The Waffen SS in the battle was under control of the OKW. There is a difference between the political and the soldiers SS. Both actually were political, but Waffen SS was an armed force. One of my grandfathers fought in 2. SS Das Reich.

Its not that hard to prove they used gas chambers. There are personal accounts, the old prison camps, personal letters, and old documents.

@anonymous11441144 they had many family camps at Auschwitz-Birkenau where men, women and children would be placed together and told they would be held for further deportation, which meant being gassed, they were usually Czech Jews, whom the Nazis gave somewhat fairer treatment.

Outer Limits really went out of their way to make this episode very realistic. For example in the first few minutes of this clip we are shown Auschwitz as it must have truly been. Notice the muddy ground and also how realistic the prisoners are. Unlike so many other depictions, they had naturally thin and emaciated extras as prisoners, and not well-fed extras from the local Actor's Exchange. These people really LOOK like concentration camp inmates.
