  • 0:00 to 3:01 is the extended version?because I have that scene in my movie

  • Whoa... We could learn many things from this film.

  • natalie portman...before star wars.

  • god i was bawling when mathilda was saying dont go

  • The bad guy ends up being the hero of the story, love it.

  • I always LOVED 3:40 ... as the DEA official, heart racing, moves to take a look LEON has a cocked gun to his head. If you listen carefully you can hear a cartoon-like "Whna!" almost like... "ha ha". It's just a little comic gem in the midst of such an intense scene.

  • 5:11 she is too cute :x

  • One of my favourite movies)

  • "questo te lo manda Matilda" EPICO

  • Epic Shit! Last scene!

  • "not like today special force, theyre not holding their weapon from the shoulder"

  • LOL at the first scene the guy is like WHAT DA EF IS GOING ON haha

  • I actually have 'The Professional' perk in Fallout: New Vegas, giving me +25% extra sneak crit damage with pistol and SMGs. Amazing tribute to the movie!

  • I'm not saying all American movies/directors are bad ..... but please look at them as a percentage of the output..

and as a final killer blow i present you with "LITTLE FOCKERS" arguement over...i thank you

  • @randombobtoo Oh shut up.

  • @muststayfresh

    fella... the truth hurts

  • "............Shit"

  • 5:45. when he says "have roots" does he mean have sex :/ ... err because in australia having a root means.. having sex

  • @saveallofus1111 it means to settle down.

  • @lilpainter11 thanks mate

  • @saveallofus1111 no problem

  • @saveallofus1111 I think so. Because in the original script Leon was meant to be having a relationship with the girl, like a paedophile kinda of way but Natlie Portman's parents disagreed with this so they had to change the script around a little bit.

  • @saveallofus1111 Is this movie set in Australia? No...

  • Lolllllllll XD

SHIT I Loved This Gift XD.

    ____________________

mathilda was very genuis and strong, when she saw her dad dead, and never tried to be foolish. like other girls do XD :P..

  • 02:01--He must have been like: "Hmm, Clever girl." LOL, Mathilda's smarter as Leon.

  • her laugh reminds me of the joker or harley quinn

  • in a druggies home and you see that your child has shot him in the wrong spot. what do you do? you tell her the killing points kill him yourself and then let her light up all his heroine...duh

greatest movie I have seen. Don't get any like that anymore

  • i wish there was a sequel to this. like mathilda (still natalie portman) all grown up following into leon's footsteps. wouldnt that be cool

  • @iluvpenguins007

No that would just be one of the crappy Hollywood sequels just made for a quick buck. I really love America but you guys just dont know when to let go, it's the same with everything. Leave it while it's best, dont mess with it.

  • @ScarletSnake ok i agree

it is best as it is, and a sequel could never compare or can really disappoint. i guess i said something i didnt completely mean, i was just thinking how badass grown mathilda would be as leon's version of a hitgirl. just saying. cus she wud hav been awesome. but youre right, not as another movie, it would spoil everything

and for the record, im not american :)

  • one of the best films ever to be made.

  • There's different versions of this movie.

    Theatrical cut:

    110 minutes

    Director's cut

    133 minutes

    International cut:

  • @MrBlaziner yes it is o.O

  • May You Rest In Peace Leoni !!!

  • @Afsos85 No..i would too without a doubt

  • I Love This Movie And Personally Had Some Good Time's With It.

Best Movie And Number 1 Of All Time.

May You Rest In Peace Leoni !!!

  • wdf! why wasnt this is the one i watched???

  • this movie was awesome, but i felt he was actually feeling for her like a man feels for a woman alot of people refused to, or didn't want to see that, but in some ways he was in love with her and she of him, kinda weird wonder what luc besson (writer and direactor) would say...

  • ...shit! :) boom

  • stop arguing about difrent countries and just watch the fucking movie

  • SHIT 8:10

  • i love when leon finally tells her she loves her best scene ever

  • That first scene, is that in the director's cut? I don't remember seeing it. damn, they really butchered the american version, that pisses me off.

  • This is what film making is all about not just actions scenes and shooting but reaching the audience on an emotional level that makes them feel for each character weather good or evil on an emotional level. From start to finish

  • They call Leon an Italian Hitman in the movie, but he appeared to be French to me. Which one is it?

  • @6Ott7 Leon works for Italians, he is the Italian's hitman

  • @6Ott7 Jean Reno is french though

  • oh yeah i love this movie ever, one of the best movie i ever seen Perfect.

  • ? wouldnt burning the coke 1ft away from where you're standing release the fumes into the air and get you super fucking high? lol...

  • movie?!

  • Jean Reno is so innocent and childish in this movie though he is a killer. I totally love his character. EPIC MOVIE!!!

  • amazing movie, off the hook

  • A spectacular piece of class... Such an under- credited film.

It will most certinaly hold great centiment in the eyes of it's appreciaters.

If you love it, you will love it for an infinity.

  • Craziest shit in a movie Portman crazy ass chick wanted Leon aka Jean Reno.....

  • how about a sequel, would that work?

  • This is what is possible with American money and European skill/talent.

If the US could just stop mass producing crap movies and concentrate on making stuff THIS good.... please

  • I agree. Hollywood sidesteps the real magic and beauty of a film in favor of mass artificial appeal. There is no question there.

It is the occational gem, like Leon, that helps me keep my faith in the cinema. Peronally, I use good theatre my relief from the monotonous, all American supposed glamour of the cinematic experience... BOOOOORING!

  • @randombobtoo yeah, stop mass producing crap like twilight

  • @randombobtoo Just because Natalie Portman was born is Israel doesnt make her European. She was raised here after all. Ask anybody and they will tell you she is an American talent. We have great talent here, its just that Hollywood squanders it with countless remakes and rejecting new ideas.

  • @fullmetalchemy Jean Reno is European, dude.

  • @akkiatari i know that, but saying it like he did made it seem like all the main actors were european. I personally think Portman steals the show. Reno is great, but Portman makes it all come together.

Still, I understand his greater point. American cinema has run out of ideas and has started cranking bad movies at high price tags to fill genres. Watch Barton Fink to see that, but it behooves us to think we are completely brain dead. The Coen Bros, Diablo Cody, and Sam Mendes could help save it.

  • @fullmetalchemy Talent has nothing to do with where you come from.

  • @Rambokala That is exactly what my original point was. @Randombobtoo said it was a good shw of european skill/talent

  • @randombobtoo so so very true

  • @randombobtoo What about Tim Burton?

  • @randombobtoo what about the coen brothers, quentin tarantino, and david fincher, they're american last time i checked, and they can do no wrong

  • @IloveOtherPplsMsry Those guys are good, but not even tarantino can compare with people like John Woo in terms of action flicks - but yeah, they're awesome!!!

  • haha i am going to clean them all ,hahaha

  • oh my god

  • Nice film and casting. Jean Reno is awesome.

  • 5:02 - 6:26 this is the most beautiful part of the movie :( everytime that i see it, i really hope that Leon saves his life...

  • @xfremenx I love this movie! I cry when I see it sometimes.

  • 1:45 "Who do you think this will kill? Donkeys and monkeys?" I love that line! LOL!!

  • I love this movie!!!

  • they did not show this in the movie

  • an other awesome clip. keep reloading them video and aim on youtube lolololololololololol hahahahahahahahhaahhaah

  • What an amazing movie!

    I'm teary eyed as I watch this T T

  • What a great film Gary and Luc ...legends

  • Que extraño esas esecenas nunca las vi.

  • "...shit." XD

  • Blooper:

At :50, the second stain was clearly lower than the first. When shown again, the stain is considerably higher.

  • oh my god i love how she laughs when they are at that restaurant!

  • Does anyone know what happen next after she got drunk. It looked like they went after another hit the next day.

  • I love this movie

but how can I buy the original version?

  • why to by go on torrents and get the HD version

  • It's out of stock now, but they are releasing a NEW special edition before the end of the year with all the deleted scene put back in and the rumour is, also a teaser for the sequal, Leona.

  • Thank U!

  • Someone noticed he explains mathilda to shoot him first in the belly then in the chest. but in the next moment. he does it upsidedown.

  • you should have included the last part with the grenades exploding

  • What a beautiful love story!

  • Beautiful film... Luc Besson lost his genius along the way.

  • Damn what was in that drink that made Matilda laugh sooooo hard xD :P

  • Lol i think Leon and Matilda play off of each other really well, and Leons reactions to her are often very beffudled, confused and almost innocent in of themselves.

  • thats amzaing movie

  • these were the deleted scenes from the movie ...why i dont know

  • What...the...fuck.

    I don't remember these scenes...DAMN YOU NETFLIX!

  • ..yeah

its because they got deleated in the US version.

  • I bought the international version off ebay and it fucking had no sound on the first disc.

  • It is an issue with the default audio setting on the disk. Go to your audio settings on your DVD player and select one of the other audio formats and you should have the sound. I had the same issue with my copy.

  • Christ he shot him 4:42 priceless

  • jajaja, "SHIT" =l

  • This movie was awesome great scences !

  • "SHIT"

  • hey, I DIDN"t see this part on the DVD

  • uh sir?! sir? WTF??? lol

  • is this is a deleted scene?

  • man..i stumble onto scences of this movie and i REEEALLYY want to watch the whole thing now...man i need to go rent it..it looks so AWESOME!!!

  • leon rulezzz

  • i like the guys reaction when he sees its paint

  • omg lol

  • Now thats parenting

  • traduction too frensh??please!! tanck you

  • 7:23 was cut..

  • yeah 7:23 to 7:36 was an imitation of the the real scene. when he stubles he's actually in more of a tunnel or alley way. not in a building lobby

  • he spouse to be best killer, yet he could not tell soomeone is walking behind him with a gun pointed at his head. sad ending

  • Well, he just survived a fairly large explosion in an apartment. I'm pretty sure his sense of awareness was abit shaken up.

  • you could see that he totally lost is focus in that scene when he was walking towards the outside, he was probably thinking of the life that would be waiting him after he get out. this was his fatal mistake.

  • Yeah, maybe. But it is also probable that Leon - as a professionalist - heard that Stansfield was following him, and he knew that he had to die so that Matilda could go back to school and grow up having a life like all kids in her age have.

That's just my interpretation, a bit silly, probably you're right.

  • her laugh is contageous 2:41, i found myself laughing along =\

  • nothing to be embarassed about

even now when she laughs, i find myself laughing :]

  • i know, right?

  • Hehe, nice ending!

  • çok güzell yaa

  • I don't remember the first half of this video this in the movie.

  • This is not the first half.

  • It's in the directors cut which I'm not sure you can get in the u.s. It basically has scenes where Matilda helps Leon work and has more intimate moments between the two. They were cut because they were seen as too suggestive even though they were perfectly harmless. Hope that answers your question.

  • let the girl go
