Humans were given the charge to care for the earth and to care for the animals and to honor God. Orangutans were made to live in trees in jungles not in backyards, houses and private tiny cages.

They need ALLOT of space, climbig oportunities, other gibbons, proper diet, proper vet care etc.... Would be LOTS of work and LOTS of expense and a many mnay year committment. Every instance I know of having one as a pet hasnt ever worked out well, especially for tha animal.

No once born and raised in captivity they lack the skills to survive in the wild. Therefore need to be given Large naturalist homes with other orangutans to live as close to their natural lives as possible. NOT in someone's house, basement, backyard or tiny circus cage.

That I am very against. The point I trying to make is we need to save their habitats in the wild. and stop the exotic pet trade which causes much suffering.
