The black pools are designed to mask trades. I think this is terribly unfair. I agree with your method totally. Just pointing out what might be a difference these days, from the Livermore era. Perhaps they had the equivalent of black pools back then? If so, then it's apples to apples (no pun intended) in terms of eras.

Are you kidding me. The tape TODAY is FAKE. The TAPE today is NTO the tape of old. Todays TAPE is full of HIGH frequency Fake Bids and Asks, whose only purpose is to manipulate the price and not to complete the order. So, I ask you, why would anyone want to read a BOGUS tape????
Very good advise, is the tape available on Google finance?
