Hi , I have am American retiring in south of Thailand , experimenting on different family of orchids , and vanilla in my garden , I like to know what kind of organic product you think is good to kill the different insects and worms that are eating my vanilla plants , do you have any tricks or you use the common pesticide or is there any environmentally friendlier solution
a teaspoon of your washing-up liquid + a tablespoon of your cooking oil, mix in 5L of water... spray it over the plants: would kill / repel most insects...
or "white oil" (which is considered "organic / enviromental friendly" despite coming from petroleum based porducts) as instructed by manufacturer: would kill most bugs and worms...
partner planting also good: ie planting other stuff that will distract the insects or repel them away... marigold is a good example...
