  • @Sidney38SNJ Well, I'm not, I'm an atheist, for various reasons.

  • It amazes me how in 1983, a young boy took his own life, after suffering

the bigotry and dehumanizing slander, delivered his way, under the auspices

of his familys' "faith"! Yet people here want to turn this forum into a referendum

on homosexuality! As a boy of 18, I had a huge crush on Bobby, and am only now,

allowing myself to mourn him! As a grown man, I have come to love Christ, the

Gospels, the books of the Pentatuch, and have even studied the Septuagent !

  • @blainebill39 Yea, while I'm an atheist, I understand.

  • @Airportchris2

and have even studied the Septuagent in "Koin" Greek. This debate, if it

can be called that, belongs elsewhere!

Queer folks are here, and the US Constitution guarantees their right to

live, and soon now, to love and marry whom they choose!

In the meantime, our children are still taking their own lives, and this

does more to defile Bobbys' memory than almost anything anyone can

say! Bobby was a sweet, kind, good natured albiet troubled young man,

    Blaine

  • @blainebill39 Well, most of his troubles came from his mothers religious intolerance.

    I completely agree.

  • @Airportchris2

Yes my friend, and Mary sees this now, the only G-D Bobby and I knew as young

men, was the vengeful G-D of the old testament! The loving, compassionate and

merciful G-D of the Gospels, was unknown to us!

  • Good music!

  • Thanks.

  • Chris, you know how I feel about this subject in general but you needed to add music to this video.

  • How do you feel?

I will add some appropriate music.

  • Dude, we debated this issue a long time ago!!! OK, I respect homosexuals but I don't agree with them. Although I don't believe they choose to be gay, I don't buy into the idea that it's normal. My religious denomination probably feels a lot stronger about this than I do.

  • Well, I have a lot on my mind, I forgot.

Well, how can you accept it not being a choice, while also thinking it's not normal? It's a contradiction, if it's not a choice, they have no say in the matter, so it's illogical to say it's unnatural and abnormal.

I personally think it's normal and natural, I don't think ones attraction is abnormal or unnatural.

Not saying you do it, but I hate when people bring up the "is sexual attraction to animals natural?" Well, we are animals, so I guess yea.

  • However, we are a evolved animal species, and we have a better sense of reality, than other animal life on this planet, and we are human beings, gay, bi, straight, transgendered, and we all are attracted naturally to one or both sexes, aka bisexual, but I don't think it's abnormal, but what's normal to people is subjective.

  • Chris, Chris, Chris, Chris, LOL We did not come from animals!!! Here's a question: let's say, for the sake of argument, that a person is born gay. is everything that is biological normal?

  • I didn't say we came from animals, I said we are mammals, as mammals are a class of vertebrate animals whose females are characterized by the possession of mammary glands while both males and females are characterized by sweat glands, hair, three middle ear bones used in hearing, and a neocortex region in the brain.

Like I said, what one person see's as normal is subjective, but if it's biological, it's normal for that person, it may not be to you and me.
