Multiculturalists may have their hearts in the right place, but...Multiculturalism in practice is destructive. Instead of kids growing up thinking of themselves as just American first, they think of themselves as Italian, Mexican, Polish, Albanian, Chinese, etc. first. Instead of building upon a culture that isn't even 300 years old yet, they want to erase this culture and replace it with purely the customs and language of the immigrant.

Also, how come the Communist East bloc did not attract any foreigners while western Europe was attracting them in large numbers. It's because Western Europe was capitalist and Eastern Europe wasn't.
