Hayward SP used to be the best in the buisness. I have changed some out that were 20yrs old and still running. These days however, their pumps are made in mexico and the quality is not what it used to be sorry to say.
hi guys, great video, many thanks, check out this new brilliant product that will help you when vacuuming the pool, search on here for Vacvice - GREAT NEW POOL PRODUCT SEE THE VIDEO NOW, VACVICE
It's nice that my pool company sold me this pump, yet failed to mention that I'd need an electrician to attach an electrical cord!!!! Why in the name of god doesn't this come with the cord attached? My TV came with an electrical cord as did my fridge!!!
@govern0r Most pool pumps are set to run on 220v. They have to be hard wired to a timer or control system, this is why they don't come with a cord. If you have an above ground pool, they do come with a cord because they're mostly 110v and are not permanent.
@govern0r Because depending on your situation you might need it hardwired or want a cord. Also, to have a pre-packaged cord would designate it to either 115 or 230 volts, and most Super Pumps are able to switch between the two. Your t.v. and refrigerator only run on one type of voltage. noob.
@bdub786 yeah, sure I'm a noob when it comes to menial labour. I also like how you choose to pontificate even though Yeti044 posted a better response ages ago. Good stuff comic book guy.

Nothing in the pool industry is easy to install. I hate dealing with pools.
