The guy who plays younger Dean looks nothing like him. Too old by the looks of it, hair's wrong, and he just doesn't pull off that coat like Dean can. Can't wait for Dean as the gym teacher, makes me laugh just thinking about it.

I'm excited for this episode! But idk, to me Dean looks so much older than sammy in these flashback pics. He kinda doesnt even look like a teenager. Sam and Dean aren't THAT far apart in age, are they? Isnt that the same actor playing sam as in the other episodes? So Dean got older but Sam didn't?

after all, Dean is only 4 years older than Sam... we just have to assume that Sam didn't have his growth-spurt yet

and that is the same kid that played Sam in the "A Very Supernatural Christmas" flashbacks... but it's a different kid than the "Something Wicked" flashbacks

(Weren't Sam and Dean supposed to be 9 and 13 in AVSC?) So since Dean is in 12th grade here he'd be 18ish and Sam would be 13...and a freshman >.> (unless its after May 2nd and Sam still would have been 13 his entire freshman year) Maybe Sam skipped a grade cause he's smart like that?

maybe if dean's an 18 year old senior, Sam would be put as a 14 year old freshman

or it could be like Valkyre said and Sam skipped a grade... after all, he is extremely smart in the show.... and in the comics, "Supernatural: Origins", Sam's teacher was telling John that he was much smarter than the other kids and should be considered for advanced placement

Dean's bday is in January and Sam's is in May...so if Dean is a senior he is either 17 or 18 and Sam would be 13 unless the flashback takes place after May 2...but like I said Sam's supposed to be all smart (full ride to Stanford anyone?) otherwise yeah, most folks are 14/15 freshman year unless they have early fall birthdays (some schools start kindergarten if the kid turns 5 before Sept 30th) or are super smart grade skippers lol
