I am a firm believer that Canada is the BEST country in the world. Not too many countries in the world today are in the same situation as us with are economy, benefits, freedom, and peace. This has all been this way throughout Canadian history because of the men and women that helped defend it. So this remembrance day thank a soldier or veteran because if not for them we could be speaking German right now, or we could be living in fear due to terrorist attacks.

Welcome back to the official names of the the Royal Canadian Navy (RCN), Canadian Army and Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF). These titles have not been used since 1968 when the then Liberal government merged the Canadian Army, RCAF and RCN into one unified organization called the Canadian Forces striping the branches of their pre-1968 traditions and identities. The Cdn Army was called "Land Force Command", RCN called "Maritime Command" and the RCAF called "Air Command" from 1968 to Aug 16th 2011

@TheJesseMD No all three elements together are still called the Canadian Armed Forces still, just each element / "branch" has. For instance all my career I have never served in the "Army" I served in the Land Force, now that the names have gone back to pre 1968 I am now a Canadian soldier in the "Canadian Army"

Great video, love the song. As a veteran of the American army, I can honestly say that Canada has a very good, very dedicated, albeit smaller, military that they should be proud of. Canadian snipers are top notch. Met some Canadian soldiers down in JRTC one year. Nice guys, however, with one of them, it took us a while to figure out that he was saying "How's the weather in Kentucky?" because it sounded like "Howsa wedder 'n Kintakey?" Funny guys though.

I Approve But i think we need to take in consideration all armed forces because what are we really fighting for.  We are fighting for the right to live lives we want. Thats what we fight for. In the Middle East or negotiations with North Korea it all comes down to the same thing nomadder who is fighting or in what way becuase nobody has the exact same veiws.
