how does the light sensor detect the droplet?

@63NY1 the droplet passes between the light sensor and a light source, as it passes the light level changes

This is amazing, I never knew a lego computer could actually be that fast, might try it out myself sometime.
It has bluetooth aswell doesnt it?
Would it be able to control my camara using a phone?
