  • sounds like a porn intro at first...lol

  • To see the uniform items allowed, look at NAVADMIN 190/08 dont take anyones word for it. Just look up the order.

  • I am so glad that Navy is getting these uniforms. I am coming into the Navy after serving in the Army. The blues and whites just looked weird. The khaki is sharp looking, like a military uniform. I was wondering something though. Do you get a jacket or sweater to go with the new service uniform when it is cold?

  • 0:49- that's the jacket you get in winter

  • geez man u aint have to walk like that jesus... u might be a good sailor man but as a model u suck big time lol...

  • wonder if NJROTC'S are get them since the winter blues well aren't blue and it just be nice to have a centimeter of closet space

  • @Thegamer5150 Winter blues are Blue lol.

  • A black uniform with a khaki shirt: how the hell does THIS relate to the NAVY?? I concur, as a former jarhead and reserve army doggie, this really does fall into the "wannabe" category. Why not just full khakis, like in WWII? Looked great, and was a 100% NAVY uniform. Black has NEVER been an American uniform color (too SS).

  • Uhhh Really Devil Dog?? What about the "Johnny Cash's" I entered active duty in 1985 and we had working whites and the Johnny Cash which was long sleeved black blouse. Black pants with a tie you could wear a white hat or a black piss cutter. That uniform was in affect until this one was authorized. Mess attendants wore what was called the salt and pepper. Black Trousers with working white short sleeve blouse. I have a hard time believing that you didnt know that if you were a former Jarhead...

  • come on now, DRESS blues and whites r still gonna b around. these things replace the working whites/blues. btw, who would give this 5*?

  • i believe there letting you choose to have both cracker jacks as a navy tradition but renew to make it look better, & have these. there's nothing wrong with starting a new tradition & keeping the old one. Personally i really think these look high class! something a 21st enlisted sailer deserves to wear. looks like an officer uniform as well minus the full khaki's. I like the idea, great uniforms

  • i really hope they do that let''s be real the blues and whites are tradition and to me they aren't all that bad.

  • im curious too, are the crackerjacks still there?

  • so did they replaced the winter blues and summer whites?

  • yes.

  • Hey tell ya what ya can tell the CNO they just lost a recruit if I want to look likke a jarhead I will join the marines or sign back up with the ARMY

  • Did they really need to change the dress uniforms? I think not. Dress whites are a navel tradition. How much did they pay the sailors to be excited? The new uniforms just are not Navy. They should let sailors in the Navy opt to keep their old uniforms until their enlistments are up. Even if they re enlist. It,s just not Navy.

  • We still have the dress white and blue crackerjacks.

  • I hate that uniform so much, it doesn't look like people who ARE sailors it looks like people wanting to PLAY soldier. I'm sure there will come a day that they will make me start wearing that new uniform, and (to avoid trouble) I will(begrudgingly), but until that day they can all go to hell.

  • Wanna-be Marine, I'm glad I got out when I did.

  • The Winter Blues are nice, but these new service uniforms really aren't bad at all.

  • so whats the collar device for a SN????

  • The Collar device is his rank of an E-3

SN is an abbervation for for Seamen.

  • hellllls yeha i loves it u don't have to worry aobut them whites no more!!and no tucking in...we're becoming some sexy sailorettes!!and i love it!!

  • They do look good!

  • Ahh, more soft news

  • If you want "hard news" the next story is about dead soldiers, not exactly "soft" stuff.

  • I think all death is tragic. Are you judging who's' lives are more important or more newsworthy though?

  • Im judging the news content of the DoD.

  • This DoD channel seems to have a wide range of hard news as well as human interest stories such as this. Showing hard news and gruesome images all the time is not healthy or realistic and leads to something call "mean world syndrome."

  • Hardly, about a month ago there was a airstrike in Afganistan that according to the BBCNews and the AP News that civilians were killed. DoD never mention the bombing. I've talked with someone at the DoD and all they said is that there investgating. If anything, DoD should at least mention the bombing just disspell the the Taliban Propaganda.

  • He said seamen

  • lol, you don't have worry about spilling red punch on your clothes...

  • William Selby is a great American! Good job on this video. Love the new uniforms, too.

  • When will the new NWUs come out?
