Endermen will have much better AI in 1.9. They will teleport out of water, tp away from explosions and arrows, won't tp INTO water, explosions, and arrows, will use their reach to attack from further away, and they will have TWENTY hearts. They will also have more limited block-lifting capabilities. Also, they will hopefully have proper hitboxes that match their bodies instead of being too high.
