  • Отлично! Напрягает!

  • Hey Beelzebrad667!

I've listened through all the songs by Link Wray. And ..... I moved directly to the early 60's.

Straight, raw guitar sounds, no samples, only good old Rock 'n Roll! Super!

    Have a really good one!

  • 1965 - a super-rock-´n-roll-year. This is real music from the 60s. i´ve never heard of this band before and maybe It´s because I´m from northern Europe. At that time we were "flooded" by English bands. I guess that you guys never had heard about this unknown band from Scandinavia. THE ZETTLERS. Check up their versions of "Skinnie Minnie" and "Beautiful Delilah. 1965 was a wonderful music year.

  • @TheSunbau Well I'll tell ya good buddy, you've come upon the god of raw American cool and Rock n Roll. Link Wray is my hero and I'm sure that of many others. Congratulations on your find. Check out "Hidden Charms" "Ace of Spades" "Jack the Ripper" "Run Chicken Run" and "Branded". Real rock. The Zettlers rock. Have a good one.

  • A one lung hero.

  • I'll always remember Link Wray for his big instrumental hit called "Rawhide". I don't know Link Wray for this one & again it's Rawhide or Nohide. Thx4 postin'

  • Great blues song.

  • I bet Dex Romwebber could nail this tune Link style!

  • I know this man best for the instrumental called "Rawhide", in fact I never knew Link to be a singer....now I know! Thx4 postin'

  • I always feel like the only man who could do a reasonable cover of the Wray tunes that Link actually sings in is perhaps Tom Waits, which is a complete compliment for both Tom AND Link.

  • Music seemed way more fun back then.

  • What year is this from ?

  • @theburdcotter 1965

  • excellent!!

  • Ditto ...I must have heard over a hundred other versions...yet this is up there with the best. ...can't stop playing it!! Link has virtually made it his own with his interpretation.

Thank You so much for posting!

  • best version I've ever heard

  • why isn't this man in the rrhof????

  • wow link wrays singing was fucking ace

  • He was a great guitarist but he also was a great singer, very talented person.

  • Fantastic !!! This was very underrated . It should have been big.

  • this is a nice atmospheric version of this. Face it, this song has been covered by everyone in the music business. Too many versions of this song exist!

  • I cant dance for nuts- but when I hear this I turn into Vincent Vega (Pulp Fiction) , excellent rock n roll-- just love LInk Wray ..

  • what an awesome track.i'm glad all you cats like Links' singing; not bad for a man with only one lung! R.I.P Link Wray-you'll always be the Guv'nor.

  • @misterdsen Yes! Kat!

  • His voice is like Conway Twitty's, but with a wider range.

  • love playin this while doin my pomp on a friday afternoon

  • Absolutely groovy man I'm a "rockin tonight."

  • Fantastic audio quality, much better than on the Union Pacific vinyl LP I was familiar with previously. Thank you for posting this wonderful treasure!

  • Hell Yeah!!

  • Great! Link Wray had such a cool voice, he could really sing! Great version!

  • You did it, markowee.

I never heard of Link Wray before but in all of maybe five minutes you made me a fan for life !!

Good stuff, here ! Good stuff !

  • Link Wray is a famous name, my last name is Wray. I was raised with Rock music, but when I was getting into music in the 60's it was the Beatles first and everyone else second really. At the time I did not enjoy this type of rockabilly stuff. It still is not high on my list. But the talent was there with Link on the guitar. It is his genre that I did not ever pick up on.

  • dig that back beat... this is real ROCK-N- ROLL

  • this is rock n roll, grandpa's style...and damn does the old guy have good taste in music. Link Wray makes me wanna pick up my guitar and rock out

  • stunning

  • Why wasn't this song HUGE? It's hard to know why........

Great, great, great song.................when Link goes with the high pitched, "Well, I heard the news..." the first time, I get goose bumps. He also channels Elvis, his idol, a bit in this song as well. The guitar riffs in this song are freaking out of this world.

  • Nice old film effect -and great song of course!

  • LOOOOOL

    old and ever great music-style

    RockNRoll never die

    thank you

    5 stars....

    :-)

  • who is that singing?

  • It´s Link himself....

  • no way? thats rad, I didnt know he sang, some of his stuff just has random people sitting in

  • @markowee wow...........

  • @markowee Great voice. Should have featured it more in his records.

  • @deadratfromhell Link used to sing till he lost a lung.
