Actually its the Sega Master System. It looks the same as the one released here. The original japanese model did look like the SG-1000.

Its confusing, because the SG-1000 received a model called the Mark II and the japanese SMS is called the Mark III (the SMS looking version is called the Mark III SMS).

The original Sega Mark III is grey, blocky and very 80's looking. Late in the system's lifespan they released a system with a few built-in accessories using the U.S. SMS shell. They actually called it the Mark III 'Master System' in Japan.

The SC-1000 was Sega's first console and is the generation before Mark III/SMS.
