  • Nice

  • nice speed, cool sounds : )

is it just a parallel port stepper that requires a realtime os?

  • Nice!

  • that's pretty incredible resolution... seems professionaly constructed.. how did you come up with the plan, what was total BOM, and do you have more samples of it working?

  • I love the noise of the stepper motors!

  • ONLY 600 IPM ?????

  • great video great machine

  • This is a super cool mini machine!! Super fast!!

  • Really nice CNC. What motors did you use?

  • hey where did you get the spindle from?

  • @565Customz

The spindle on this machine was made by me - it is a DIY spindle

    Chris

  • @RIAMCNC nice! ive been trying to figure out how to build a 20ish thousand rpm spindle, but i want to use air bearings...and im not having much luck

  • What is the technical term for those wire guides, and where did you get them?

  • They are called Energy Chains, check on ebay as sometimes you can get a good deal

  • Thanks!

  • great!

what did you use for the spindle

  • Great job!

Hope I'll build my own cnc some day...

  • thats one hell of a diy cnc, fast too, I have seen alot of diy cnc's and this one takes the cake... nice job!

  • It looks and sounds so sexy... I want one!

  • Cool machine, very well done.

Where did you get the T-slot table?

  • Good afternoon ... very interesting your cnc.

I wonder if you could help me, I bought the 251 gecko, but I am not finding help to link the 3 drives, you have some wiring diagram?

    thanks

  • Slick. Fast too. Nice job.

  • That's a very nice system indeed for- especially seeing that it's home made. Looks really robust, positive and fast. Just wish I had one!

  • what type of stepper u use

    the model no. plz ????

  • What's the setup for the x-axis. I think I see two linear ways above each other?

    Do you use a ballscrew?

  • The X axis (axis on the bridge) used linear rails (IKO). The other two axes use bishop wisecarver rails. The Z axis uses a ball screw and the X and Y axis use a belt drive.

  • hi,there RIAMCNC I really like this machine and would like to get the exact dimension of 8020 T-slot you used to build the whole machine. and everything on it. I want one like that exactly .How much for one like this?USD

    thank you Dushko

  • Johnny 5 is ALIVE. Cool vid.

  • pretty cool. Nice machines.

  • Did you cut the aluminum yourself, was it custom ordered?

    Nicely done.

  • Thanks!

I have a mill and a lathe in my shop so I was fortunate enough to be able to machine parts to size.

  • Aren't those servos and timing belts that are driving the X,Y travel? Are those slots on the table for tee bolts to hold the part? That sure is a neat little machine you got there, really nice job, be proud of yourself, your mind and your hands.

  • The machine uses stepper motors. Yes, the T-Slot material allows for the use of T-Nuts to clamp the parts in place.

    Thanks!

    Chris

  • Do you make them and sell them?

    tnx

  • nice work...i'm impressed
