When their sales stop increasing after they use 'em. Tiger made millions for Tag Heuer, Nike, Gatorade, Gillette, and AT&T. Sheen and other celebrities make money for their sponsors and are dropped when they fuck up. Fame helps these companies make money, and until that stops, they will continue to fame as a gauge for character.
