Any individual that can look past their disability/challenge I commend. One of the individuals that caught my right off was Aaron Fotheringham. I don't do the mountain biking. But, I do the long distance tour cycling though. And, I have met some individuals that have had some very unique ways of making it possible to continue doing something that they enjoy.
