Why is EQAO employing psychometrists as opposed to statistians?? Make it a standardized test so that all students are on an equal footing and there is an apples to apples comparison. By not using standarized tests research from EQAO can always be manipulated for what ever agenda the government wants or whatever the researchers want.

Why does EQAO NOT use standardized tests from one area of the province to another? Is this for geo-political manipulation?EQAO keeps track of a difficulty indicator for each question by using an Item Response Theory approach but doesn't publish this information. Not very transparent is it. Each parent & school board should have this information made public so as to make informed decisions rather than misinformed ones. Why is the selection of the test questions kept out of the information loop?
