Haha Spongebob. Great video and I totally agree with you. I've had the pleasure of knowing a girl who breaks all the preconceived notions brought on by religion on how women should behave etc. It kinda showed me my own prejudice that had about women. Hope that makes sense.

Well, actually, sexual selection is a very strong component to natural selection that has nothing to do with death.

You see it in such things as male peacocks and birds of paradise. The female chooses based on appearance.

In humans, females have a strong initial bias against short men. A short man has to be REALLY smart, funny, or rich (or all 2) in order to get a prime mate.

This has nothing to do with death (ie, less adaptive organisms not surviving to breed), and everything to do with sex.

A corset might be a symbol of opression, but they're soooooo pretty and do wonders with the female figure (see Deta Von Teese, Maralyn Manson's ex wife for proof, though not when she has the 18 inch waist, that's just scary).

Considering doing a bit about faminism as my competition entry just to see if can anoy the radicals. Mostly because they give normal feminists a bad name.

I just did a google image search, and in some of those pictures she looks good, but when her waste is TOO small she kind of almost doesn't look human. I mean, Jessica Rabbit was a cartoon so she's allowed to not have any room for internal organs, but it's kind of scarey to see that on a flesh-and-blood woman.
