  • I was on Facebook one time and my friend had sent me a message I attempted to click her name, but accidentally clicked the ad above her name it sent me to some weird sniper shooter picture I accidentally clicked the window and "gamevance" started downloading but I used my anti virus system and got it off.

  • I was checking gamefly and my name was in blue so i clicked it and it said gamevance so i exited out of this as soon as the pop-up came. LOL Can't trick me Gamevance!

  • Interesting. This very very old posting was subjected to Copyright Infringement issued from Future Ads LLC claiming that this material is infringing. I challenged and video was restored in accordance with You Tube Policy found at Help Center.

  • If Gamevance thought they didn't gave you to much viruses..... this was intentional. Seriously? I think that security error was intentional.

  • Same thing with me... But next time one of you people see that you SHUT OFF YOUR INTERNET OR COMPUTER! i didn't that day now i have a 10 pound paper weight thats used for a light...

  • Okay, i had a mini tower windows vista pc. it got fried because of gamevance. i now am running a hp.

  • Anyways.

If this ever happens to you, Disconnect your internet connection IMMEDIATELY.

Do do either by unplugging your LAN manualy for a desktop, or turn off the WLAN in a laptop.

  • its so funny because their prizes may be real but their probably counterfit... scareware happens but its funny when you notice, wtf i have a newer computer.. my files dont look like that.. McAfee isnt the best.. Windows even picked it up (gamevance32) their uninstaller isnt even safe.. i had to do it manually

  • i hate the websites that have fake viruses thay make you buy the software its a rip of

  • I agree. However, the point of the posting a year + ago was the source of the source of the redirection to the malware masquerading as a Anti-x scan. Interestingly enough, there are even more cloud hosted Anti-x solutions out there. A quick search with words "free anti-virus scan" for example gives a healthy list. I can see where an end-user might not look closely at the activity and think it was their web based anti-virus scanner.

  • So an antivirus scan from a web browser is not expected to arouse suspicion?

  • "Click on your friends to view and suck their Lollipops!"

    Umm...?

  • gamevace adds by google! :o

  • Gamevance+mac=profit

  • you knw that some walware install when you press cancel...

  • Whenever I try getting the lame toolbar off it says its uninstalled restart foxfire but then it says 1 new addon installed geuss what it is... gamevance toolbar can anyone help me?

  • slow e

  • same thing happend to me.....got redirected. started all that fake crap....But i closed the browser before it opend that download shit ...safed

  • dude, gamevance installs risk adware.gen on your computer like right as you get on. It's saved as an add-on in your firefox browser. It is known as gamevance textlinks. It saves a registry value that makes it so every time you uninstall it it reinstalls itself. It opens pop-ups and installs trojans. Use Malewarebytes and delete HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\GamevanceText.Linker and HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\GamvanceText.Linker1 to help antivirus remove.

  • these rogue malware things are so predictable. how anyone called fall for it is untrue.

  • i just visited it once.I didn;t play games.Is that okay?

  • 1:23 close it out dumbass press the "X" buttion you idiot thats what i did 5 times alredy and i dont get infected

  • @dmytrocool hes showing u whats ging to happen. it wont do any good if u just 'x' out.

  • why did you let that virus thing run i done it once i done it and McAfee stopped the test because it was a V I R U S ! ! !

  • i downloaded gamevance and nonthing bad happend :)

  • Site advisor is rigged... They gave it a green and a secure. I was on my computer when my mouse got glitchy and I accidently clicked on a gamevance ad. it instantly downloaded mal-ware. WTH!

  • how do i take it off of my computer?! some words are highlighted in green because of it. and they lead me to links

  • I once got a trojan because i went to a guitar tab site, McAfee clearly stated it was safe, but just a couple minutes of browsing a rogue anti-virus message came up, said i had pornography on my computer. But i didnt lol. I click the X to close and it was started downloading i had to reboot my computer all because McAfee. Nowadays I use Norton 360! :D works real good now, quarantined lots of trojans.

  • @TRules202

Use Avast! AntiVirus. Trust me it's much better than Norton 360. Also, did I mention that it's FREE? :D

  • @DaWorldAtWaR totally agree Norton blows, but i would rather Avg over avast

  • @cowsrcool04 Dude, Avast! is better. AVG is paid by some DANGEROUS websites, so it is detected as GREEN. Good Luck. BTW, I had AVG and it took ALOT of space on my Hard Drive.

  • Umm How do you delete it? o.o

  • I thought gamevance was true since I checked for videos about prizes being true

  • wot rated it badly

  • whoever made that virus, i wanna take a knife and slit their throat. Take a chainsaw and chop up the fucking family. i hope whoever made this virus gets murdered.

  • I didnt even visit the damn site and got spammed with gamevance virus alerts.

  • you have to be a fool to waste your time with gamevance, i can't believe that they hav'nt been shut down yet?!?

  • gamevance is a virus. i used mbam to scan because avast caught something suspicious, and it found 16 items infected and they all came from gamevance ._.

  • Most infected websites just copy and paste the certificates from other sites and touch them up (edit) and then put it on their site.

  • yo dude can you sed me the thing that gets your computer to get fucked up cause i wan't to make my ass hole of a friend to get his computer all fucked up

  • @TVswag it fucked up my computer not with any bugs, but with damn fuked ads, fuck gamevance, now i know that the only safe games are those made by companies that you buy in the store and the only safe free games are the demos that you download

  • right now i searched this because spyware doctor found it and i didnt know wat this was

  • need an invite to lockerz dot come to get free stuff? PM me your email and i'll send you an invite!

  • omg a time i opened my father's computer and when all is ok, that's have opened a window same like that!!! 1:19 and my father have did not go in virus website or maybe but me i did not touch his computer on internet... that's scare me so much, after i close it, i reopen My Computer for see if they are there and no, but now by looking that video, now i know what that's spawn to my father's computer the other day... but seriously, that's spawnwhen i open directly the computer O_o

  • I have tried gamevance. all it gave me was shitty games and a few trojans

  • That happened to me on another site, I had to restart my fucking computer.

  • you gotta have balls to wait for that rogue software to load.

  • Dude are you kidding me? That just makes you stupid. You could hurt your computer. It saves registryhives it installs gamevance trojans and screws with your hardware

  • @colkemker

Yeah no shit, that's why I made the comment, besides its for instructional purposes ( i believe) that this video was made . Ease up, the comment was directed towards the maker of this video.

  • gamevance is one of the worst attempts at a scam ive ever seen

  • @AnonymousClient I didn't even go on gamevance and I got virus :O be careful on gaming sites

  • @MrSluggerman trust only games that you get from the store, like star wars, halo, cod, mgs, etc, not any of the damned games from websites. the only free games are the demos.

  • @AnonymousClient It's not a scam, but it'll screw up your computer.

  • @Kheluva999

Rogue Antiviruses are Scams, They try to scare you into giving them money by saying "You're infected!!11!"!"!"!1! Buy out piece of shit product pl0x Kthxbaai!!11!one!!", And if you "buy" it, They sweep your bank account clean. :D

  • theres two gamervances there a virus site and a original site the virus site blocks the original dont go on it anyways
