  • @grttaxi does the impact on the string to the suppressor wear down the string any

  • lol my old bear whitetail II is sitting right in the background

  • How would you put one on an older bow, like one where the cable guide is below the handgrip?

  • kenny this is Robert Macias From EL Paso Texas ,thank for your, you tube videos there very helpful. in this video you are installing a limb saver string supressor my question is can it be install on my pse nova its an old model and the cable slide rod is were the stabilizer is. it's my first bow, hope you can help me on this thk.

  • I have been asking about these string stops for weeks. Nobody could tell me what they are for, thanks so much for this video, best explanation i have heard.

  • I bought one of these today and it actually helps my accuracy. And I love the thump sound of it hitting the suppressor.

  • @deerhuntingboy101 You don't have to just tie the knots like I did it will protect your string from wear.

  • I' sure glad there's people such as yourself taking the time to do these videos I've learned quite a bit from you I can't thank you enough keep up the good work have you got anything on limb savers for quad style bows?

If not is would sure be nice to see a comparison video of bow jacks and the round style anyhow thanks.

  • hi i just buy a used limbsaver dz36 it is 50 pound lime. question ...can the limb go lower than 50? if yes how ? thanks a lot.

  • Yeah im gonna get one of these now. I always though you had to have the threaded hole on the back of your riser. Does it take noise down to?? Because i have a pearson spoiler sp-10 an i have string leeches, bow jax limb savers, an a octane stabilizer an it still makes to much noise for my liking.

  • i love you videos, where is you shop located??

  • Why do you have to put a serving on the string for this supressor?

  • @erk2581 its there to protect the string from wear

  • Kenny,in your videos installing rests you show how to level your string, but with a string suppressor you want to put pressure on your string.Doesn't this throw off the level when you go to install a rest?

  • You arent putting that much pressure against it only a very little amount.

  • Thanks for posting this, wasn't sure I was doing it right.

  • would that make your bow faster too?

  • Cool who are you sponsored by.

  • Well for my videos just the manufacturer, and for my TV show ,Just Passn' Thru, we are currently securing sponsors. For my website it is self funded for the greater good of the sport and my fellow archers/bowhunters.

  • dude your a lifesaver your videos are awesome man keep em comin

  • I show different methods for those who don't have a serving jig. You can serve this part of the string if you have a jig works fine, I just want to show you guys different approaches to the same result that doesn't try to sell you something.

  • thanks for the videos. we new people to compound bows dont need people trying to take advantage of us and try to sell us something. you give quality tips and you make it look easy so we dont get intimidated. thanks again

  • Hi Kenny,

Great videos. One quick question please. Why don't you use the same serving and jig as in your serving video? I may get a string suppressor soon.

  • Think about how the string will react to the gap it wil still be able to whip back and forth not be suppressed. I think that some say to have a gap and some want the string against the suppressor

  • Hey Kenny I'm a big fan of your videos, keep 'em coming. I just wanted to ask why you say to push the sts against the string rather than having a gap or it barely touching as most people recommend?

  • You want to serve where it contacts the string and have about 1/4" extra above and below the suppressor

  • why do you serve above and below where the string hits the suppresor?

  • I'm gonna get one

  • Good video, Kenny! I've heard only good things about the Limbsaver supressors (and all their products), but can't find them here, so i've put on my Martin MOAB a homemade STS, which works fine (have a video here in Youtube).

  • Thanks I am going to put one on my bow this weekend and give it a try.

  • Great tutorial.

    Excellent accessory.

Luckily, I already have one of those on my bow.
