I did this in the Summer of 2008, as I was leaving High School, because I really wanted my two favourite bands to be in one video. I did it because I was a fan, just like you. But since then, people have misread my intentions and called me a "stupid fag", sent me death threats to me, my family, etc. All for this video. I hope you all stop the abuse now.

The Arctic Monkeys are a terrible band and not even very photogenic either. I think it is a reflection of today's "society" as to why they are popular. You can be sure the more intelligent youth of the Beatles era wouldn't have rated this group even to the level of a junior high school garage band. I think there is something about today's youth (not to sound old) that the worse and more screwed up something is the better it is. The Planet of the Apes film series happening for real is not cool.

When I saw the title of this video I actually nearly died. Day Tripper is one of my favourite songs and the Arctic Monkeys are my favourite band. This is just massively disappointing however.
