  • Wow the old school routine, some of the move in here are not even used in the current morse routine. dang we need to bring this moves back

  • can someone elborate how did the tosses at 3:26 go?? that looks good !!

  • Now this is what my JROTC batillion needs

  • bring this back plz

  • Hey wassup its Cat, damn these were the days huh. Crazy, freakin a bunch badasses!

  • haha that one guy dropped his rifle! wonder what place they got

  • @jmayily 1st place! Everyone else dropped their rifle more than once or had sloppy routines.

  • @fultonrecepcion if u keep a good baring and just keep going as if nothing els happen sanp pop and sound off even if it went sloppy the di likes these kinds of things u can get first i have seen it over and over its how u handel your self and your team

  • @TheDadrobb - very true. I was a U.S. Marine and bearing is taught in boot camp.

  • holy crap this is HELLA OG

  • omg. . .this exists?!?!?!

  • wait that dude had the nerve to talk about repetition? dude, i just saw your routine, it was filled with repetitions! at least 4 candle sticks or liberty or whatever you want to call it. dropping your rifle from left to right so its like parallel to the ground, then bringing it back up. Dude, we are THAT good, so stop hating. Oh and my individual beats yours, because mine isn't repetitive!

  • 90-99 were the era of the champions, i am the 2007-2008 morse drill team commander and if the judges were like still like that we would sweep every competition here in sd but no, the judges now are biased, have favorites and just flat out dont like morse

  • From 1987 - 90, the problem wasn't the judges, but the District Army Instructor jumping in when it was awards time. According to some judges (active duty Marines, Sailors and Soldiers), the routines Morse had for some of the various competitions were given the highest ratings. Years after I left when I was in the Marines, a fellow Marine who went to a rival school told me about how an SAI from a rival school paid off the DAI. I don't know if that's true, but I wouldn't be surprised.

  • peaople be hating...its coo tho jus shows how good we be

  • ...You guys are good but not THAT good. Your routine is kind of repetitive and at some points pretty sloppy. You guys also do things very similar every year, the judges are probably tired of seeing it. As far as EVERY competition in San Diego goes, Mt Miguel and LB Poly do better than Morse and any other 12th brigade school every year at LB and Orange Glenn comps. I understand your ticked off cuz you got 3rd this year but seriously man its not that much different than how you usually do.

  • wait back up just a quick bit... did you just say mt miguel?! is better than US?!?! hell nah and did you say that they beat us at poly comp??? maybe there unarmed do but us armed always dominate that comp, im guessing you havent been to poly for the last 3 or 4 comps...ask any poly drill team member we are the power house school when we go to there comp..

  • Nah I meant Orange Glenn, past couple of years they've taken 1st/2nd.

Last year, didn't they get 2nd @ poly? I might not have remembered right.

I know you guys got 1st this year at LB though, nice job.

Anyway, I agree about judges obviously being stupid this year at Brigade, but the past 3 years made sense to me.

  • mt miguel has never gotten top 3 at poly i dunno bout orange glenn we never go anymore but mt miguel unarmed placed top 3 at poly not armed

  • Ah I gotcha. Sorry heard they got 2nd at LB last year, regardless I'm not saying ya'll are bad lol

Orange Glenn they got 1st last year I think

  • Still you guys DID get ripped this year though.

  • as for poly hands down they are good but when we compete in the same competition, like nationals; poly morse and guam are the power house.i suggest you ask some poly kids they will tell you

  • This was an iconic era. It was a huge influence on the 93-95 Morse MFDT. If you look at our routine for the Nationals in Florida, you will see a lot of the same stuff but refined.

  • speaking of florida nationals is there any chance that you may have a copy of your video if so can you please send me a copy?? if not than thats okay

  • Comment removed

  • This was definite the foundation of what we became to be. If any year was an Iconic year, it was '95 when we went to Nationals. I have a tape. Just need to convert it.

    Who is this, Bobby?

  • Iconic era if Morse MFDT '90-'94. Happy to have been part of this era. This video along with the santana video of '90 inspired the '91 '92 and '93 teams to win Field Day and the '92 and '93 teams to win SANTANA.

  • This is legendary. This video was shown to us as first year cadets in 1990-1991. We all wanted to be them. So our team went and got first place in Santana '92 and '93. 1st place field day.... 91' '92 '93 thank you for posting this video. 1990-1994 iconic era of male fancy drill team.

  • anyone have anything form rossevel jr high school like back in 94 95

  • I can speak on great authority on this video, I WAS THE ONE WHO TAPED IT! This was one of many copies that circulated after I lent out the tape. But it's cool that someone posted it here. That day in June 1990 seems like so long ago. I feel old! That parade field where they competed no longer exists!

  • i was in rotc for the past 3 years and now im in college cierra

  • Old school lol

  • haha, jay got in trouble for running in and switching weapons like the did around two mins at nats. lmao.
