  • My right to individualism doesn't impede on your right to voluntary collectivism. But your forced collectivism impedes on my right to individualism. There is no such thing as forced individiaulism. That would be to say that I am forcing you to not force me do anything.

  • OBAMINATION IS A COMMUNIST BASTARD THAT WANTS TO SOCIALIZE OUR ENTIRE SYSTEM AND KILL OUR REPUBLIC!!! I SAY STRING HIM UP PEOPLE OF AMERICA!!! TURN HIM OUT TO THE STREETS!!! LET HIM TRY TO FIND A NORMAL LOW PAYING RETAIL JOB AND SEE HOW HE LIKES THE SYSTEM HE CREATED!!! NO TRICKLE DOWN, NO APPRECIATION, AND BEST OF ALL NO MONEY! HE CAN HAVE HIS COMMUNIST COUNTRY, HE JUST CANT HAVE THIS REPUBLIC COUNTRY! I SAY WE EXPORT THE BASTARD! "REPUBLIC AND LIBERTY OR DEATH!"

  • My bullshit-o-meter has peaked new records watching this vid.

  • @Menegoth if this is bullshit, what isn't? it's about a worldview of minimized coercion and maximized civil liberty. what makes another's assertion of there own rights objectionable?

  • @Menegoth explain how you believe this is bs

  • Freedom to believe in and do whatever you want, without impeding the liberty of others, is liberty.

Just because you believe in a certain set of ideals does not give you the right to force them on others.

Liberty is the right to do it wrong. Liberty is the freedom to make mistakes.

The breath of Liberty inhales tolerance and exhales forgiveness.

    Brad G. Skidmore (1971 to 2012)

  • For the likes and dislikes of this great discourse, there are 11 people who think they have the claim to another man's life, or worse, that others have the right to claim their own life.

  • nothing is still a thing...

  • it is frustrating that every video that asserts a right of center philosophy is so terrible in its aesthetic quality ... how else will you convince many unthinking people to even give it a second look if you don't like looking at it in the first place? Think of all the people who find it cool to support obama, with their regalia, their signs, etc .. most don't even know what he stands for yet he is a pop culture force

  • Lack of order leads to chaos. Rules are needed to protect society. Absolute freedom can be bliss but there are limits of what we can and cannot do...

  • @NickTruman93 Yea we can't take Liberty, Property, or life from anyone else. No other rules are needed.

  • Being responsible and bringing responsible life into this world is the greatest challege. Every single life should have that right. Values, ethics, psychology and morals are temporary and arbitrary. That is why we have war, greed and control freaks. Fear of losing and wasting one's life (gift) is too commonplace.

  • This moral theory as presented is not sufficient, and noticeable conflict can arise in its semantic structure.

  • Take for example the case of a person living in a country where taxes are 30% of your property. With those taxes many social services are offered to the citizen such as health insurance and education at no additional cost, yet the person doesn't wish to pay any taxes, and so doesn't pay taxes. Most moral theories, courts of law, and knowledgeable people will say the person should go to jail or pay a bigger fine, and with strong reasons to support the case.

  • The moral theory presented is not at all deciding in slightly complex moral dilemmas. It all sounds very nice and beautiful, but how does it perform when confronted with actual moral dilemmas?

  • This is a dangerous video. Keep it away from the rising generation, particularly the artists, singers and writers.

  • watch?v=tY31XYbW8go

Capitalism and Communism are not systems, they are theories. One is similar to the theory of natural selection, another is similar to Intelligent design. Tell me, does your preferred theory require a magic man who can know and control everything to produce something wonderful and beautiful?

  • This video really is just... so amazingly clear adn easy to understand... I wish I could give it to everyone...

  • The whole point of living in a Free Nation is that you have THE RIGHT to do WHATEVER YOU WANT provided it does not interfere with the right of another to do the same.

The line that demarcates this is called LAW.

That said, try to own a taxicab or limosine in the State of New York and you'll soon find out all about TYRANNY! (And I'm not joking, either!)

  • this nation never was or never will be free if we keep letting democracy run this place, there is no goverment like no goverment.

  • No government is anarchy. This is not a stable state in which violence and lawlessness rules. It is invariably replaced by a dictatroship (Nazi, Communist, Facist etc.). No freedom can be had in either of these conditions. A government is required to enforce basic law and order so that it's citizens can be free. As Satchmo mentioned, you can do what you want so long as it does not infringe on the rights of others. The law's job in to prevent people from infringing on the rights of others.

  • Let's fact it; most people loathe Freedom.

In my own country (USA) only 15% of the populace actively affirms the values of freedom as put forth in the US Constitution.

Too many people don't simply care while many, others place something ahead of Republicanism. (This is not to be confused with the Republican political party, you dumb-ass.

These people can be involved in some left-wing cause, crazily religious or an industrial robber-baron; it doesn't matter; they're all against FREEDOM.

  • Well said to often democrats and republicans try to blame one or the other for trying to destroy liberty. In reality both of them are slowly taking away freedom together and justifying it through blind patriotism.

And it is all happening because the general public has lost touch of what freedom and liberty should truely mean.

  • Carsten Communism is awful. Communism tries to make it seem that Self-owned indivudals will refuse to act co-operatively ( Somewhat true). Thus certain "superior" leaders tried to control and direct everyone for the "greater good", in the end losing liberty. Self-Owned individuals have choices. And instead of trying to control you should try to educate and make sure the Individual will help others and progress society, because its the right thing not because he will be shot if he doesn't.

  • your view is very wrong my friend. there is no freedom at all in a society of ownership of the main production. 1: ownership of territory 2. of the production facilitys 3. natural resources .this inlude always a few happy and a majority of unfree people who have to sale there workforce to make the rich even richer

  • You've been brainwashed my friend. Contemporary government has served it's purpose and assimilated you into the mass so that you can be controlled easily.

Just because we are social, does not mean we don't own our body. Self-ownership is the most normal and sensible theory in the world.

Like the video says, to say otherwise is to say that someone other than yourself has a higher claim to your life, which I will NEVER accept.

    Communism is such trash.

  • @djdestroyer

communism is a gateway to liberty. it only

requires a governemt as long as it's neccesarry

to bad it didn't work that well in the past.

so i guess anarchy is the only funktioning way of

    socialism

  • No, communism doesn't hold to individualism. It holds to collectivism. Communism doesn't hold to personal property, self ownership or the pursuit of self interests. It holds to common ownership of personal property and public property, ownership by the state and the pursuit of common, collective means of interest.(as a group)

  • Comment removed

  • @FATToney12

No. Communism is not against personal property, just against PRIVAT property!

Communism (not ussr-stallinism!) is liberaler als kapitalism, because liberti is general idea, not property!

not liberti for property but property for individual libertis.

Liberal individualism is against collectivism: against capitalism and against state-communism!

And.. anarcho-communism is not collectivism, but individualism.

Sorry for my to bad english must it more to learn.

  • @NordgerHingst How many millions of people do you want to kill to try for communism again? isn't the death toll high enough already?

Wie viele Millionen von Menschen wollen Sie töten, um für den Kommunismus noch einmal versuchen? ist nicht die Zahl der Todesopfer hoch genug?

  • then move somewhere you dont have liberty!

  • Very creative and well-made video!

I agree with everything mentioned in this vid. 5/5

  • there is a gene that make like what your dad and mom had acquired as knowledges, talents, skills, may be 'given' to the baby when they make one,.... so i say that the environment of our parents did influence their behaviour and their environment also influence their kids behavior, through dna,...but there is still no human nature, if you born with cromaion man you would live like them cuz the environment would suggest that behavior

  • This is all very simplistic--these issues are not so black and white. Clearly done by non-lawyers and those who fail to understand nuance, defined terms, the need for necessary regulations and that, given free choice, most choose bad or destructive choices. It's hard to translate this value set to non-Western societies. Cute graphics, but lots of empty rhetoric...

  • What do you expect of an eight minute long youtube Video?

  • "It's hard to translate this value set to non-Western societies."

It doesn't even apply to Western societies.

  • It applies to everyone. Just that some groups hold other things to a higher value than individual Liberty.

  • Which is stupid... Any individual or society that has been convinced that there are things more important than individual freedom was likely convinced by someone who had a stake in them NOT having liberty.

  • the point is: if the liberty (wich kind of liberty) of a man need a reduced liberty of another man then this liberty is opression or exploitation. the people live for 100000 years in communism. capitalism is only 300 years old!

  • Uh huh...

  • Governments dont give us our Rights, Government can only ignore them or acknowledge them. The Constitution was made because they were acknowledging them. We have Rights wether Governmets permit them or not.

  • The Constitution was written by Freemasons.

  • They are not subjective viewpoints, it is instinctual. Look at how a child views the world before they are corrupted with societal views. The reason some societies don't have that view is through indoctrinated beliefs. The government will try to enforce the level of control that it desires, but at the end of the day those natural rights are still rights; just some people are denied their rights.

  • Comment removed

  • Nope, there is no such thing as human nature. There are cases when kids are raised by dogs and the kids act like dogs. Some "native" "Americans" promoted giving, sharing, honesty ect. that was the only way to become chief, now what do you think young males did in those tribes? They practiced the characteristics listed above. Ok now lets take a look at our society today, People are greedy, dishonest ect. everything is fueled by greed, is it the individuals fault?

  • Of course NOT its their environment that created those characteristics. My point is...humans personalities are molded by the environment.PERIOD

  • Not that simple. PERIOD.

  • They only enforce rights if the common people let them. Our constitution says "By the people, and for the people". In truth, we should be the one's who decide, let that not be a mistake. The people are the ones who made the govt and are the ones who can and will control it. A new era is upon us in the years ahead when it is families and people, not corporations and high-ranks, whom control the laws and outcomes like it should be.

  • Comment removed

  • I disagree, all societies may not respect rights, but these rights are an inherit part of being a human being. We are naturally hardwired to desire these rights, regardless of social norms, though sometimes environmental influences can overwhelm this natural desires.

Take for example a slave. Even if a slave is enslaved from birth and is expected to accept their place they may still naturally desire liberty.

  • A government can't take away a right, its yours from the moment of your conception. Governments can either respect your rights or not, this is what determines if a government is just or unjust.

We all have a fundamental and perfectly natural desire for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. It is from this natural desire that are rights come.

Societies have evolved and fortunately we as a species have gotten better at balancing the rights of all human beings, but we aren't perfect at it.

  • This is the philosophy of the future.

This will be self-evident to our grandchildren the way "democracy" is taken for granted today.

  • Liberty and Freedom are not the same. Liberty is granted and Freedom is a right. See Occult world of Commerce. Next... we don't need any ism's Or Philosophy, everyone knows what is right. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you!!! The fall of Adam and Eve was to seperate from devine knowing in exchange for knowledge. To know is to be connected to all that is. Stop trying and see truth. It's in every heart.

  • We are connected to all, you know of this. There is more to the connection too. Every heart has its feeling that seems to be direct to Spirit.Brain is direct to Mind.Body is the physical essence and our Soul is our inner essence, and through mind body connects to Spirit, the Soul by meditation, prayer, praise, and enlightenment. Would you agree to this? I seek no argument with you, I simply like your end comment of connection, it is the philosophy I teach too. to pleiadians777 comment

  • Human nature doesnt exist...the human behaves its self in different manners depending on its surrounding. This culture and system teaches you its ok to be greedy and corrupt as long as your feeding YOUR family and communist that take total power are no different. And dont forget...the US is corrupt as well...instead of being one person...its a few.

  • i dont think you have read books explaining communism because if you did you wouldnt of said "small ruling elite decide whats best for many" because thats just leaders from the past that CHOOSE to do that. They are not following the "rules" of creating a communist society...Karl Marx said if your democratic your on your way to socialism...and communism is close to anarchy.

  • The music is very good. What is it?

  • So, well... Communism should lead to some kind of "liberty/anarchism". But in fact, the material goods are limitated. That means that everybody should have limitated goods too. How can we manage and distribute goods in equal parts without "stealing"?

I guess i wont have any replies soon, as the lastest comments are 2 weeks old.

Excuse my bad english and spelling, but i think you got my point.

    Good video.

  • JordiComunist: 1. It's not clear what you mean by the material goods are limited and that means that everybody should have limited goods too. This is the case because our life is finite. We will all die and we don't know when. We can only produce as many goods as we can in our lifetime. Why do you want to manage and distribute goods in equal parts? Distribution of goods is a service. Those people who want to provide that service are free to do so. They require property (trucks, trains)...

  • JordiComunist: 2 To distribute products (food, clothing, shelter) requires property (trucks, trains, cars) and people to operate that property. It requires warehouses to store goods safely and the goods at both ends of the distribution chain. Everyone is free to work in this line of work or to work in some other line of work. People receive goods in proportion to what they produce in return. The minority of people who can no longer produce must live off their saved wealth or charity.

  • Hum... As you can see in my nick name, i'm a communist (the good kind :P). I understand this "liberty" just like "anarchy". As a communist, I agree with most of the values on this video, but I dont agree with the property as; time, energy & talent. as human beings, not everybody have got as much talent, energy and also time... What would a retard produce by itself? Mi IQ is 147, does that mean that i deserve more property than a 75 IQ guy? That's unfair... Apply this for time and energy...

  • In my opinion the state shoud protect the life, 'freedom' (aslong its good for them) and property. Democraticly this can not be done. And communism = stealing in my opinion.

And lets face it... The world isn't fair, people shoud face that.

  • JordiComunist: 3 Those who cannot produce must support themself from saved wealth or by charity. This is a fact of life. Life is not fair. All men are not created equally. But they should all be equal under the law. What nature curses us with should not be magnified by man. Socialism turns charity into a robin hood scheme of stealing from every productive person to support the unproductive. It turns charity into theft. Free men are naturally generous and will give.

  • Good video. And as an abstract system, these principles would make for a better world. However, this notion of freedom fails to acknowledge the existence of implicit forces. In our finite world, resources and services may either be of limited availability or accessibility. Though individuals may be legally free, things like poverty, disease, etc. might inhibit true freedom. It is only moral then that any excesses sometimes be redistributed so that a reasonable freedom is maintained for all.

  • I TOTALLY agree with you on that one!

  • brilliant! brilliant fuckin video!

  • simple yet very important...thanks for sharing

  • Liberty that is not founded upon both tables of God's Law is not true liberty but a usurper of liberty. That is one reason I am PO'd at the Government's fiscal practices and n-tuple taxation (estates, land, etc.).

  • Wonderful, Great Video! Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. No one better to handle your affairs and money than you!

  • Love and Fairness to all, but I have personally taken gas from Anarchists of the bomb throwing kind but Liberty and less gov go hand in hand. Some farm Anarchists are OK, but many City Anarchists are just self serving dope using mentally ill biter A-holes.

  • VERY IMPORTANT PIECE OF WORK!

I applaude the ones behind this piece!

VOTE RON PAUL, the candidate of intelligence...

    peace and wisdom

  • think about this liberty is the right to beleive anything u want...yet bush is not allowing homosexual marriages...also u have the right to vote NO MATTER WHAT yet if u get a charge against u it could be a parking ticket they take away that right...also u have free speech yet u cant bad mouth goverment ideas on T.V without being investigated

  • simple isnt it?

  • Sounds a little more like an ideology...iono

  • and You beleve in haven?

  • I DO believe in HEAVEN if that's what you were trying to say. I choose to not be ignorant in only believing in what I see.

  • Actually I was talking about taxation as a means of wealth distribution to ensure that all people have access to services and material goods. This video seems to suggest that taxation is immoral because of personal property rights. Perhaps, but what's more immoral is that some have and some do not. When people are deprived their rights to being cared about by their community, like without welfare or health care, a system of raising money for community services is sometimes morally necessary.

  • pizdekator/fatamorgana:

No "heaven" if that's what you meant...I am an atheist and a secular humanist though, which means I do believe in morality and compassion. If you meant "haven" as in a paradise of a more earthly nature, like some sort of "welfare haven", then I hope you didn't mean that as a sarcastic stab at liberal politics. But yes, though I sometimes doubt the benignity human nature, I do believe we could make a better world with more liberal policies...community, equality, and peace.

  • adjohnson916, I am a believer in Jesus Christ and I also believe in morality and compassion. We just have to face the facts, we are imperfect by nature and the only way we can be perfected is through the Blood of Jesus. He is the epitome of morality and compassion given the fact that He gave His whole life for people's sins of this world.

  • I guess I'm happy that you've found such purpose in your life, and I'm not going to put you down for your faith, but personally I find plenty of meaning without any religion, no less Christianity. Sure Jesus was great moral character, whether real or fictional, and I certainly would respect him and those that honor him for that. I just find it somewhat irrelevant to our conversation, but if it means that much to youso as to influence your political and philosophical beliefs then thats just fine.

  • Yes, it's odd how the original conversation morphed into a different topic and all from the misunderstanding of the word "haven" haha...it's my fault. By the way, I am not religious.

  • My opinion is that haven was made up so masses would wait for it in slavery instead of making it NOW.

  • F**k whoever deleted my first comments.

  • LIFE, LIBERTY, AND THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS are why America exists! The current government says they have the right to make you die for whatever cause they see fit, they have the right to take away your freedoms for the sake of your safety, and they have the right to to tax you into slavery. This is not based on sound philosophy and, as such, is false. All men of good conscience should revolt and reestablish a gov't which protects their Civil rights...or else perish!

  • This is on the short list of truly educational things I have ever been exposed to. It is so clear, so simple, and so ultimately life-affirming it's reduced me to tears even as I type this.

  • Tsarion, he certainly is.

And one thing he illustrates is how "Flash Gordons" aren't going to fly down from the sky and save your ass.

Which is why I think we should focus on more than just Ron Paul. He's a diversion, so America wont see its liberties being stripped away.

Something BIG is happening this month. Mark my words.

  • Great video, great message.

Remember Ron Paul donations on Nov. 5th

  • Formatguy: I agree.

It's important to note that Anarchism has its own set of rules. Rules that come out of a stable and sane mind. And it's only natural to abide by them.

In my process of Self-Discovery. I've learned that ignoring the voice within only brings grief. Michael Tsarion covers that extensively

  • Michael Tsarion is a interesting individual.

  • 5 stars

Ron Paul 08 to restore the Constitution

    peace&personal liberties

think of Sophie and Hans Sholl who gave their lives fighting Nazis(google White Rose)

  • what's the name of this song?

  • This video makes me think a lot. Nice creativity!

  • Remember, Remember the 5th of November..HUGE money bomb at RonPaul2008(DOT)com...100,000 people donating $100 for a grand total of $10,000,000 In One Day..the single most money donated to any candidate for anything on one day in the history of the US..please join us!

    Make you donation to ronpaul2008(DOT)com

  • This video is actually quite old, but it's a good one. I love the symbols used here.

  • With Liberty and freedom come great responsibility. It's time for our nation to grow up and shake off the dumbing down of the media and video games ( and the internet).

    Awake oh sleeper!

    RON PAUL 08!

  • "Very nice"

  • So simple, but amazingly true. Why don't more people get this? The music in this is strangely hypnotic as well.

  • Beautiful! Every American should watch this!

  • Ron Paul is NOT a puppet. He has never taken a pay off from lobbyists. Nor has he voted to violate our civil liberties or constitution EVER!! So kiss off Drkaos. Stop looking at the glass half full. Ron Paul is one of our last chances.. our last chance would be a full out revolution if Ron Paul Fails. That will be our last chance for liberty.

  • Rather Half empty*

  • You definitely need to do some research on Ron Paul.

  • Ah, the socialists and anarchists coming out of the wood work. If you're not willing to deal with an American gov't, perhaps its not the place for you. You're often waiting and never acting so of what use are you. If only you could see the benefits of a Ron Paul nation.

  • So what do you suggest?Anarchy ?

  • Well a lot of the principles of self-ownership are from the "The Ego and Its Own" by Johann Kaspar Schmidt aka Max Stirner. Who is an earliest proponent of individualist anarchism and other schools of philosophy. Remember that anarchism doesn't necessarily mean a rejection of rules only a rejection of rulers.

  • @dregsta

If you´d watch your video carefully you´d realize anarchy is the only way to achieve true liberty. Your video mentions that property is the fruit of your labour, well if I make money with my labour NOBODY has the right to take it, including the government, the government--by taxing me--steals my money which is in contrast with the layed out principles of liberty in this video.

  • yea but just giving up and denouncing them like theyre fantasy will only strengthen even more

  • Where did you fashion that philosophy, ninth grade? It just erks you that Ron Paul supporters are actually combining efforts to make change while you're preaching to fellow burners at Taco John

  • What's a burner at Taco John?

  • Liberty will not create utopia. It will just give us the best world possible!!! People were made for freedom. It is the solution to the human condition.

  • The simplicity of liberty just blows me away.

    Ron Paul 2008

  • did Ron Paul Make this video?...LOL good stuff

  • jonathangullible website is listed at the end of the video. Like the Founding Fathers' ideas, it was around before Ron Paul's 2008 campaign :). As he has stated though, "Freedom is popular."

  • RON PAUL 2008.

    RESTORE IT.

  • yes, globalism is the enemy. The sad thing is that many democrats blindly accept would governance as a by product of their knee-jerk liberalism and inclusivism. On the conservative side, knee-jerk republicanism is keeping those of us with more of a clue from doing anything about the problem(namely putting Ron Paul as (R) candidate.

  • awesome wonderful i love it!

  • Globalism is threatening our freedoms.

  • Thank you.
