@AliothSenator... There are a lot of musicians who get gigs such as playing with Lady Gaga. They sometimes choose high paying gigs that gives you a great experience, instead of doing something that completely shows their talent for not that much money, and an experience that may not be once in a lifetime. I definitely feel what you saying mann ... because he would make suchh a better benefit elsewhere ... but its life mann

@paulalexanderjohnson I actually had the chance to meet Brockett and the Lady Gaga band in a bar in Taichung Taiwan 2 days before Lady Gaga's promo gig here. I talked to him about musicians who don't really dig Mainstream Pop and thinks that Lady Gaga sucks and how he feels about that. He told me that those people who speaks shit about pop gigs are auditioning for these gigs themselves. My friend who talked to the bassist that night told him that they get paid $250,000USD a tour!

Do something you may not want to do, in order to later be able to do what you wanted and more. If I ever had an opportunity like that, I'd "sell out" and fund all my side jazz, metal, latin, etc projects with the surplus after bills n such are taking care of....smart man
