I know what you mean about stupid comments, its a lot of viewers that has nothing else to do but haggle people that is doing something to do, haters, hate that somebody else thoughts are greater than a plain joe, keep trying from RC JAYBONDNIC-YOU good test.
awesome. always wanted to do a build liek this after seeing my mates tricked out 2 gear nitro car back in the days :)
should do the pilot max performance takeoff and spool up on brakes then launch, ona really long road. that thing picks up soo much speed the faster it goes...
@ESECK13 not with the mesh in front of the intake, everything, that goes through that mesh will go through the rest of the engine without causing demage....
OKay if you Want to drive it Smooth the put on some spoilers, some thing like that, i will bet it will work. Our job is to meke rc jet planes! So try it man!
He can't apply too much power or it will cause lift and then bye bye expensive turbine. A Jetcat turbine (assuming he's using one of the mid-range units) spins well in excess of 100k rpm producing at least 20 lbs of thrust. So on a car that weighs 7-8 at most, it would probably get 50 feet in the air if he opened it up.
omg dude wer did u get that engine from!!! if u put on a rc plane i bet it can add some mph to the normal engine of the plane which will probly double the speed but idk if any rc plane can hold both of the engines weights
RC planes with 1 of those can go 200mph or km/h. RC planes can hold anything as long as it is big enough and has wing area. you need a big enough plane to hold the fuel tank also. try search for RC JET on google.
awesome dude, truley awesome. if i was you i would try to make a roll cage for the turbine, be a shame if it got scratched up and damaged if it rolled
heh man, i think those turbines are designed to hold at certain speed for long time, isn't bad to throttle up and down? they only good on cars for a drag race thought, nice anyways
ever thought of using a turboprop config but driving directly into the car gearbox instead? i reakon thatd be cool and the rpms would be close to nitro;s after the turboprop gearbox! Looks like fun now tho!!!!
Pretty cool! I think u should build som more downforse, u can´t use it to its full potential if on this whay. And i also whant too se u take it to top speed on a long strait line.
LOL at blown96ranger. Ever wondered why F1 cars, Nascars, Le Mans car, GT Cars, etc etc etc, ARENT 4WD!? Because 4WD doesnt "handle so much better than 2WD".
Not true...ever wonder why rally cars are always AWD or 4WD? Better traction control. F1 banned a lot of automotive innovations because they felt it gave too much of an advantage to the driver...like turbine-powered cars, full ground-effects, vacuum-traction (Chaparral 2J, Brabham BT46B), etc...
Ever wonder why 4wd vehicles handle so much better than 2wd vehicles? I can tell you without getting into handling dynamics that the way most vehicles are designed, they require the wheels to be driven in order to make the most of the suspension system. Turboshaft would rule
The turbine just provides thrust, not direct wheel drive right? I see it doesn't negotiate sharp corners well...a miniature turboshaft would be awesome!

Your thrust handle is up so it will cause the front of the car to be lite. So point the thrust handle down to put pressure on the front tire.

Thats a very expensive turbine so theres no asking how fast it can go, it would have to be a plane if you wanted to go full throttle

i give u one advice take the gas engine out of it so u have more space for the jet engine to fit in, and make a custom boddy for it

What size is the engine and whered you get the turbine from?
