I heard on the radio yesterday that what Obama and the Democrat party want is for the people to be totally dependent on Government. That is exactly what this healthcare plan is doing. Now Biden is explaining Medicare but he is not saying that the Healthcare is going to be using basically the same funding system that Medicare is using. WOW isn't that suprizing that the Government tells us all that we are going to have a "NEW" system but it lies to us and uses the same basic broken system.

There is also is the fact that this plan is only participant funded which means that everyone using the plan must be paying for the plan. If you think that the Federal Government does not have the "Right" (God Given) to make you purchase a product that you do not want to purchase AND you live in the Great State of Ohio, please sign the Healthcare Freedom Ammendment so we can get it on the ballot. Does anyone in here even realise that there is no public option? All the Health Care bill does is mandate that we purchase health insurance from the "mean" insurance corporations. If we don't purchase the insurance, the IRS is going to fine us. If you normally get an Income Tax Check, you won't get it anymore if you don't buy insurance. I have cash, I don't need insurance, but because someone else screws up I have to pay for it anyway. The Government does not have the authority to mandate that I purchase a service, especially since Obama is helping the Insurance companies with this bill anyway.

What you don't seem to understand is that if everyone has insurance the costs drop significantly. If we were to increase our total healthcare spending by 1% we could pay for insurance for everyone. That's 46.3 million, 15% of the population and constantly rising, expected to be over 56 million as of 2013.

If a law is truly against the Constitution it would be declared unconstitutional and would no longer exist. The healthcare bill is a good thing, far from perfect, but an improvement for sure. Although, increased energy costs due to cap and trade would be most of that. The USA currently pays for only 50% of its expenditures, the rest is on the global credit card.

A public option will not work. If they go with any public option it will force the insurance companies out of business. In the plan they put more stipulations and costs on the insurance companies. They mask this by saying there will be more competition. The fine for a company not carrying employee insurance is way less than what they would spend on insuring them. They are trying to force us into a complete socialized healthcare in a sneaky way and hoping the majority will not realize it.

I am a Marylander who served a 6-year enlisted naval term and have been a commecial driver for more than 15 years since.
My situation has gotten dire and I and my family are currently at risk of aggressive acts because of my resistance to socialism governing and regulating how I go about maintaining a stable promise of employment.
I am limited in my ability to document these things because of laws prohibiting us of devices capable of indesputable accuracy without consent.
Blacklisting is a very popular method being used by the public at large to remove undesirables from their places of business, as well as social communities.

I have an ideal for regulatory check and balance for the protection of non-unionized workers.

I heard on the radio yesterday that what Obama and the Democrat party want is for the people to be totally dependent on Government. That is exactly what this healthcare plan is doing. There is also is the fact that this plan is only participant funded which means that everyone using the plan must be paying for the plan. If we don't purchase the insurance, the IRS is going to fine us. If you normally get an Income Tax Check, you won't get it anymore if you don't buy insurance. In 6 months time, All/any American citizens will be required to have an RFID microchip surgically implanted within thier bodies in order to use the healthcare system. Amazing!! Right now 45,000 Americans die every year because they didn't have insurance. How much higher will that go?

Federal Election Commission? Not any liberals I know. Last I checked the Bill of Rights protected individual citizens, not for profit corporations. When the government attempts to protect the people through regulation of corporations it is the conservatives and libertarians who vote the bills down.

I have cash, I don't need insurance, but because someone else screws up I have to pay for it anyway. What you don't seem to understand is that if everyone has insurance the costs drop significantly. If we were to increase our total healthcare spending by 1% we could pay for insurance for everyone. That's 46.3 million, 15% of the population and constantly rising, expected to be over 56 million as of 2013.

If a law is truly against the Constitution it would be declared unconstitutional and would no longer exist. The healthcare bill is a good thing, far from perfect, but an improvement for sure. Besides, the too-big-to-fail corporations fired a lot of people after they were bailed out, so it didn't make a difference either way. The people still got screwed in the end, now the failed companies gets to keep making POS products no one will buy.

Obama's stealth taxes are esimated at over $1.5 trillion over the next 10 years, like fines on those who don't buy health insurance. Although, increased energy costs due to cap and trade would be most of that. The USA currently pays for only 50% of its expenditures, the rest is on the global credit card.

Government already controls production and consumption by determining the number of physicians; what services medical professionals can offer and under what terms; where they can practice; who can open a hospital or purchase a new MRI; who can market a drug or medical device; and what kind of health insurance consumers may purchase. Government even sets the prices for half of our health-care sector directly, and indirectly sets prices for the other half.They do a lousy job of keeping cost down!

A public option will not work. If they go with any public option it will force the insurance companies out of business. In the plan they put more stipulations and costs on the insurance companies. They mask this by saying there will be more competition. The fine for a company not carrying employee insurance is way less than what they would spend on insuring them. They are trying to force us into a complete socialized healthcare in a sneaky way and hoping the majority will not realize it.

My situation has gotten dire and I and my family are currently at risk of aggressive acts because of my resistance to socialism governing and regulating how I go about maintaining a stable promise of employment.
