  • dont do the treatment if you want to live. think co-infection. h, pylori and other bacterium are the real culprits and they are all treatable. research hep c co-infection and you'll find that there is alot of research that backs up my statements. interferon is a deadly drug!!!!!!!!

  • Thanks, I'll have to check it out. I'm now 30 weeks into 48-week interferon treatment. I know I can survive. I realize the dangers but I'm determined to finish treatment. I developed pneumonia and am taking my third antiobiotic so far to get rid of it.

  • Bill, yes a rough disease, my sister has it as does my ex husband... sister went thru. part of the treatment (extremely expensive, insurance at that x)however quit treatment early as the insurance was just too costly and she continued drinking so i don't know if the meds would have worked or not. Prayers Are With you my friend. trio*

  • Thanks, I appreciate your prayers.

  • Good for you! One positive thing is that the Liver is one organ that can regenerate & we can live well with only a small portion of our liver. Remember, nausea can be controlled with medication & marijuana. Since I don't know 'what' caused your liver damage, MJ may not be an option. But Ativan, in a cream form, placed on your wrists, may help. Interferon sometimes causes nausea. The meds are limited because of the Liver failure though. Don't be miserable! There is help!

  • Just to clarify my knowledge, I was a Hospice Nurse! Itching is a problem too with liver failure. Not much out there for that, but Ativan does help, so does Zyrtec & other antihistamines. Of course, this is up to you Physician.

  • Thanks for your comments. I'll have to research the marijuana issue. It was hepatitis C that damaged my liver and that's what I'll be getting treatment for.

  • ☤ According to bocksaga, the oldest mythology on the planet, drinking your own semen makes the immunity system stronger. This is ourobourous

I wish you a fast recovering.

  • very interesting!! dosn't pamela anderson have the same thing....xjoeyx

  • Yes, good luck.

  • Depression has long been a problem for me.

  • My counselor is convinced that mine is stable enough that I can undergo treatment. Thanks for watching. Also, I've been watching your videos - you have some interesting views and questions.

  • Good luck, my friend.

  • Thanks, sorry for the delay. Trouble getting forwarded e-mail from YouTube activity.

  • yes utube occasionally has their issues, those highly trained monkeys just make a mess on things, for crying out loud, you'd think they'd hire some real help! duh or dah, vateva

  • That is great news

  • ok I made a video response. Actually, I accidentally sent one which I didn't say anything (duh) then I sent the real one.

    Joanie

  • oh my! is the liver problem from hep C?

  • Yes, and I've known about it for more than 10 years.

  • I'm writing from my wife's channel, sorry.

    s/Bill

  • lots of info, thanks. seems like they had you in a kind of double bind there. 'here's some depressing news, you have liver disease. so, are ya depressed now? yes? oh, too bad, that means we can't treat yr liver.' well i'm glad you've triumphed in this and beat that depression rap.i know its tough goin sometimes, but hang onto this. there's a point where the decision to live better, to love,to engage in life, to choose happiness over despair becomes an act of revolution in itself, doncha think?

  • I'm totally revolutionary, thanks for the comment. I decided I'll never work for any corporate goons so why not reveal my whole life, it's pretty damned controversial and my business and I even made it on the cover of Editor and Publisher magazine in 1998-99 or so after my primary care physician committed a drive-by shooting at my office.

  • Oh, this is Bill on my wife's channel. I was doing maintenance for her and I forgot to log out. Oops!

  • Gee whiz, I'm NOT sure whether I already sent this video out, but here's some good news in part 2 of my video series, My Medical Nightmare. I'll be back after Thursday's eye exam, which is the red/green light for my treatment plan.
