@ItsAesop LOL 'kid'. Anywa- how can you even possibly argue with me? Everyone and their dog knows that Arrow knees are fucking old and annoying. So instead of me telling to you 'shut up kid' (cheers for the laughs) I made my own witty joke about your brain, funny stuff huh?
Don't mind the screeching tires on sand, they have become some kind of movie trope like hearing sound in space or the 555 telephone numbers. The important thing is that this scene, like the rest of the movie, is perfectly shot and edited. It displays a sense for rhythm and timing that is lost more and more in today's movie business. The loss of this art is the reason why so many movies feel awkward and just don't hit home these days.
@pburto Yes. Yes I am. Im with the intergalactic exchange program, I get to study abroad and try different jobs. The one i am currently working at is stormtrooper
@samadamspatriot Watch closer. The canyon looks to be man-made. Cut out of the ground. In the distance you can also see huge structures. Just a thought...
Another good first introduction to a character was in the movie 'Superman' (1978) when toddler Kal El caught the truck before it crushed Pa Kent.

This scene would have been perfect for a William Shatner cameo. Instead of a robot the cop should have been played by Shatner as "Tj Hooker".
TJ Hooker meets young James T Kirk, lol.
Exverlobter 4 months ago
@Exverlobter It wouldn't make much sense to have Nemoy playing old Spock and then Shatner doing a cameo, would it?

Why not

If I was that cop I would have told him...
"Get the car"
And kicked him down that chasm.

What brand of tyres where used in that scene? Squeaking even on sand and dust, seems to be a new model.

@samadamspatriot The canyon scene was taken from a real life granite canyon in Barre, Vermont.

@samadamspatriot In the movie, this canyon is man-made. (Most plausible)
