No wonder Lester was reincarnated as a vindictive scarecrow. It serves the bullies and other redneck folks right for not treating this poor, skinny outcast like a human being. One viewer mentioned that this was how the Batman Scarecrow character got his start in a career of crime. Who knows. This could have been Jonathan Crane before he explored fear and phobias later in life.

Part of that backstory is based on the Scarefrow villain from Batman, as a child and teenager, Scarecrow was bullied and picked on and wore the scarecrow mask and came to the seinor prom with a gun, and the main bully / cheerleader who rejected him died in a car crash from all the chaos, so this movie cuts off at the bully part and makes him die and come back as a scarecrow. In Batman he also used a scythe as a weapon like in this movie.

Well, this is one of the movies every human being has to watch at least once in his life. ;) It is incredibly bad, but at the same time funny - because it seems to take itself serious even though this seems impossible. Furthermore it contains hundreds of stereotypes and an extremely superficial story, which makes it even.. well.. better. Indeed it IS one of the worst movies I've ever seen, but it was very entertaining though. ;)

sorry to say.... but this movie should be put under "comedy". lmao! My family sat down and watched this movie one night and were ROFL the whole time. the cheap acting alone was enough to have us laughing for hours. No wonder the dvd only cost $4.95 at walmart. I'd recommend watching this if your in the mood for a laugh. :)
